We stayed at "Ard-na-Coille" for 3 nights whilst touring the Highlands. The accommodation and food was the highlight of our trip and Mike and Jacquie are excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, my wife loved the fluffy towels and the lovely four poster bed. Breakfast is of an excellent standard and we thought it was great value for money! more

We had a fantastic time at Ard Na Coille guest house which is hosted by Jackie and Mike. The guest house has a very warm and lived in feeling. One cannot help but feeling at home here because the rooms are so beautifully done up, they are very clean and the breakfast room is welcoming. The special cooked breakfasts are... more

This lovely home is located discreetly away from the road but is a pleasant walking distance to the small town of Newtonmore. The owners are very proud of their home and with good reason! The facilities are excellent, there is a lovely billiard room with a well stocked drink cabinet, the bedrooms are artfully decorated, a good size with lovely... more

We wanted to drive around Scotland for 5 days and decided to base ourselves somewhere in the highlands. I came across Ard Na Coille Guest house on their website and was immediately taken by the description of the place. Arriving at the front gate we were delighted with the long sweeping driveway up to the main house. We were immediately... more

We had a lovely stay at this 5star guest house in newtonmoor. The owners Mike and Jacquie were charming. As was our room, ensuite and breakfast. Super guest house would recommend to family and friends. Husband couldn't locate shaver point. However I think that was just an excuse so that he didn't have to shave. Stayed 18.9.08 Yvonne and Keith X more

We chose to stay here because of the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and it didn't disappoint. This is an immaculate and luxurious guest house. Fancy a B&B having electric gates at the entrance! Mike and Jacquie gave us a very warm welcome. We stayed in a large, beautiful room with a 4-poster bed and, the en-suite had a roll-top bath... more

I was a bit sceptical about staying in a bed and breakfast as I didn't want to feel like I was staying in someone's spare room. A night in this place dispelled that and I wished I was staying longer. The owners were very friendly, and made me feel at home, without being over attentive. It was evident that a... more

It was a very rushed trip to take advantage of the skiing. I was impressed by the service provided, the enthusiasm and friendliness of the owners. They were both extremely helpful & personable and that to me is the strongest selling point of this more high-end newly renovated B&B, ie. the fact that you can get a certain level of... more
