The hotel is directly across the road from the Folklife Museum, minutes from the village, and easy to find. Our room overlooked a peaceful, green hillside with rabbits running freely - lovely. The bathroom was great - large and good showers, tea and coffee maker, shortbread. Hospitality was above and beyond. Cleanliness superb. Learned that the stars of the cast... More

From the moment you're welcomed at he door, until you're bid a fond farewell, it's all about service. As good as anywhere I've stayed, worldwide. Spotlessly clean and quality furnishings. Fluffy towels, bath robes, peace and quiet. You really couldn't ask for anything else if you're coming to recharge. Great base to plan day trips throughout the region. If you're... More

My fiancé booked online for an overnight stay during our visit to the Highlands for my birthday! The drive through the grand gates and up through the idyllic garden led us to a most beautiful building which turned out to be highly indicative of the grandeur we would be met with once we stepped inside! This place has been notably... More

My wife and I stayed in the room with the four poster bed. The room was large and very well decorated and had great views towards the mountains. The breakfast was excellent and was served in a beautiful room. Of course a very nice room and breakfast are usually the main reasons for choosing a B & B but Jacquie's... More

Jacquie runs the most wonderful B&B. Internally the whole house has beautiful decor. It is absolutely spotless . Our bedroom was huge with absolutely everything you can think of provided. Huge comfy bed, large bathroom with lovely fluffy white towels. Breakfast is very special and served this time in another beautiful spacious area. Great website for easy booking and we... More

Mike and Jacquie welcomed us, showed the impressive ground floor breakfast area, and handed over the room key. Then came the WOW factor - the room. Large, beautifully presented 4 poster bed, fridge complete with milk, and water, shower and separate bath and views over the Cairngorms. Advice on local dining was given and proved very good - The Letterbox,... More

This B&B is an older home with time period furnishings. Our room was sizable and clean, as was the bathroom. The bathroom was stocked with fresh soaps and lotions, shower cap, and plenty of towels. The bedroom was stocked with all the fixings for preparing coffee and tea, a mini refrigerator with a few drinks along with fresh milk for... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ard-na-Collie - the house is spotless, the views are lovely and the bedrooms well equipped and comfortable. Only tiny improvement that could be made is the shower pressure, which could have been better, though not a huge thing and no prob with temperature. Breakfast was a real highlight - Jacquie's cooking is top notch! All... More

We cannot praise Jacquie and Mike enough for the warm welcome and beautiful home/bed and breakfast , it was like staying in a very upmarket hotel, the décor was immaculate, breakfast was better than some expensive hotels, we were offered an array of cereals ,fresh fruit, pastries and a hearty breakfast from full scottish to award winning eggs benedict and...
