The hotel was very comfortable, well decorated. Serving good ales to go with good food. The double room we had was very well appointed clean and spacious. Good level of service all round by friendly staff.

We stayed here for three nights and used the Hotel as a base for trips around the area. The rooms were sparkling clean and en suite shower room was spotless. The beds were very comfy with high quality bed linen which made for a good nights sleep too. The meals were average bar food but delicious non the less. Loved... More

We passed through Newtonmore and as it was a normal Scottish summer (raining) stopped here for a meal. For a smallish hotel it is one of the best meals in one of the most welcoming places i have had in a long long time. Keep it up Glen.

We've recently stayed here for 4 nights as we intended to travel around the west coast and up to inverness and needed a base, this hotel was perfect. We found all the staff friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were lovely and kept very clean and the food was good too, A bonus for us was that... More

We went here on a lovely warm evening and sat outside to eat, we ordered at the bar, the staff werent over friendly but not particularly welcoming either ...just doing their job. Our meals came and as I had ordered lamb and veg I asked for extra gravy ,,, don't think that was appreciated much and wasn't even offered mint... More

We are so sorry that we did not meet this reviewers expectations. It was a exceptionally busy night and we were a member of staff down due to illness. The comments have been passed to our waiting staff and they will endeavour to try to maintain a high standard in all aspects of customer service. Our lamb shank dish is... More

Me and my partner stayed here on 6th July for a night. We had benn in the highlander hotel along the road the night before and knew we wouldn't stay another night there. We went to the glen hotel for a wee drink on the Saturday afternoon and were welcomed by Chris and Kim in the bar, which was very... More

We stopped off here on the way from Ben Nevis to Glenlivet Estate. From the moment we were greeted by the friendly Publican to the time we left we had excellent, friendly efficient service. The food was superb. I had the steak and ale pie and my wife and daughter had chicken fajitas. All the food was tasty and satisfying.... More

The room was a little crampt, barely enough room to walk between the bed and the chairs. And the double bed was just two singles pushed together with a crack in the middle. The restaurant was pretty good though, with a broad variety from Mexican to Indian, although the breakfast menu was somewhat more limited (good, but pretty much just... More

Thank you for taking time to place your review and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us at The Glen. We are sorry about 'the crack' in the bed - our beds are called 'zip & link' and are quite common in the UK - it gives the flexibility for each room to be a double or... More

I only stopped off for one night but I had visited the Glen once before. Upon arrival I was given a friendly greeting & a comprehensive rundown of the routine. That done my room was a small single but was en suite with tv. The bed was very comfortable and all was clean. Downstairs is the main bar/dining room with... More
