We had just two nights to spend in the Highlands, and I'm so glad we stayed at Coig na Shee. To start, the B&B is wonderful: big, almost rambling rooms and very generous bathrooms. The property was spotlessly clean, and every detail had been attended to - an excellent tea and coffee selection in our room and plenty of fluffy... more

I first heard about Coig Na Shee through a colleague who was extoling the virtues of this fantasic guest house, whilst the rest of us emerged from under various sizes of soggy canvas in a nearby campsite. When I decided to come back to the area under my own steam, rather than with a group of students on their Duke... more

Coig Na Shee was ideally centrally located for us and broke up our long drive from Edinburgh to the Highlands. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our beautiful large room which had everything we needed for our short one night stay. The quality of the bedding and towels were fantastic and luxuriously soft and comfortable. The freshly cooked breakfast... more

This B&B is wonderful! Probably one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in and certainly the cleanest place. The attention to detail is wonderful and the decor and setting great. Our hosts were lovely aswell. All in all I would highly recommend it. more

Whilst visiting relatives in Newtonmore, we stopped at Coig-na-Shee. We paid a little extra for an upgraded room (The Beeches) & were not disappointed. Very spacious bathroom with bath & separate shower. The bedroom itself was again pretty large with a sofa, large wardrobe, TV/DVD & very comfortable bed. Breakfasts were served in a beautiful dining room. We would have... more

This is a gem worth seeking out. We had a large room at the front of the house overlooking the lawn and the hills beyond. Even a red squirrel playing on the front lawn. The room, with all facilities was very comfortable with a sofa and easy chairs. Plenty of hanging space. Tea & coffee making facilities with excellent home-made... more

We stayed at this place for a day on our way to Inverness. We received a very warm welcome and found the place to be excellent with eleganty decorated rooms and a great view. The owners were very nice and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Given a chance I would definitely visit it... more

we spent 5 nights at this beautiful B&B. All along our stay the lovely couple Marion & Gream was very warm and kindly. The braekfast were great! the room was big and clean and it felt great to stay inside! The B&B is located in a very good place so it was easy to go traveling around. In all of... more

My intent was to add a very positive review, but I see that I am just one of many. OK, so I can add to the acclaim. Coig Na Shee was wonderful. Rooms large and clean, very welcoming. The hosts, Marian and Graeme, were fantastic and even loaned us a dog for a short hike up the mountain. That's hospitality.... more
