Superb b & b in picturesque town. Conveniently situated within walking distance of cafes, shops etc. Lovely welcome from hosts Graham and Marion, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Many little extras provided like ground coffee and cafetiere, varied selection of teas etc. Very nice setting with lots of walks nearby as well as tourist attractions like Highland Folk Museum. Fantastic... More

We stayed one night at the end of an 8 day trip to the Highlands; we were sad we'd not booked longer, this is such a wonderful B&B! We'd made a one-night booking at the end of our trip so we could explore the Cairngorms, and in many ways found the experience better than what we'd had at our five-star... More

My partner and I spent one night here and we wished we had booked a few nights. Very friendly and attentive hosts. The bedroom we stayed in was very clean, tidy and the bed was extremely comfy. We found the facilities top notch (not to mention the building itself which is absolutely beautiful). The breakfast was spot on and was... More

My partner and I spent two nights here and could not have been more impressed with the setting, the room, the hosts and the breakfast! The house is set at the top of a small hill and everything about it is gorgeous. The house is full of cosy areas for reading and playing games, the bedroom was enormous with an... More

A very nice two night stay . Lovely old house with a touch of class - eclectically furnished. Friendly host, a comfortable bed and an exquisite and plentiful breakfast. Would definitely recommend to those seeking a relaxing stay in a relatively quiet location.

We stayed at Coig na Shee for two nights at the end of August having spotted the B&B on a previous trip in the area and we were not disappointed. Our room 'The Firs' was very spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. The stand alone bath most welcome as my other half enjoyed a well deserved soak after completing the... More

A Beautiful B&B! Lovely grounds and a nice circular walk nearby. The village had a couple of places to eat. Thankfully after staying in the smallest room ever on Skye our room was large, luxurious and beautiful. The bathroom was also huge with a bath and shower. I'm not sure about not having opaque glass in there though! All holiday... More

We returned to Coig na Shee for our son to visit the polar bears at the Highland Wildlife Park a few miles away in Kincraig. We had been once before, and it was good to see that nothing had changed. The rooms were still wonderful and the breakfast still excellent. The only difference was the weather! We had visited in... More

I stayed at the Coig Na Shee for 5 nights at the beginning of August 2014. It is such a lovely place. A bit outside Newtonmore (10 minute walk to the town centre) surrounded by nature. Marion and Graeme are excellent hosts and I always felt very welcome and almost a bit like home. They were also very helpful in... More

We stopped off in Newtonmore on our way home after completing our cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats. It also happened to be my 50th birthday and Marion and Graeme decorated the bedroom with banners and balloons. The room was large, beautifully decorated and clean with lovely views onto the garden at the front. There was plenty of... More
