We stayed at Coig Na Shee for one night in November 2014 in The Limes room. The room was really clean and comfortable, small but perfectly formed! Marion and Graham were great hosts and cooked a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Marion told us some local walks to go on - try the Wildcat Trail. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse... It was a pleasure meeting you both earlier this month, and really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. The Wildcat Trail is a lovely walk any time of the year, and we are extremely lucky to have these wild open spaces right on our doorstep for our guests to enjoy. Many thanks again. The coig na shee was recommended to us by our daughter and son in law who have stayed there several times. We were not disappointed. As we were getting out of the car, the owner was already at the front door to welcome us. The house is beautiful. Being the 2nd of November, it was lovely and warm. Our room,... More

Have stayed 5 times at Coig Na Shee and it is consistently first class. Spent 2 nights at the end of October in The Firs and enjoyed it very much. The house is beautiful and immaculately clean, warm and welcoming.

We stayed here one night in September 2014 in the Limes. While the room is a little small (especially if you have a lot of luggage), we had a great night there. There are a number of really enjoyable sitting areas around the house for reading. Staff was super friendly and made a great traditional breakfast. A bit of a... More

Stayed in The Pines, twin room, the night before running the Aviemore Half Marathon. Very attractive B&B, inside and out, comfortable and clean and I liked the attention to detail. Graham was very welcoming and ensured that I had everything I needed. I stayed only one night, but would have loved to have stayed longer and brought the family. My... More

Very disappointing establishment run with military prosision, you must park car in white lines, we were not told at time of booking that you can not wear shoes indoors in fact they stand over you while you take them off and leave in hall! Even though stair carpet is thread bare.all the money was taken upfront front so no chance... More

The place was a lovely location near the wildcat trail. Which was a great walk to go round. The owners of this place were absolutely amazing and have obviously, taken an intrest in the information we had given as were asking us questions about it. Which you don't always see. The food was great what we had in the morning.... More

We spent three days at this beautiful B&B in Newtonmore and enjoyed a wonderful time with great hillwalking in the Cairngorm. The Coig Na Shee is in a old victorian mansion. The room was clean, very comfortable and spaceous. Our hosts were just great. They were very friendly, helpful and cooked a very tasty breakfast everything morning. We will certainly... More

We stayed in the Larches room. It had a large bay window and sitting area that was great for just chilling out. The view from this window is nice too. Innkeepers are friendly and accommodating. The town is welcoming and we had a very nice dinner at the Glen hotel. If you like Stout, be sure to try the Cairnmore... More

Just spent another lovely weekend here recharging the batteries. This beautiful Edwardian house is full of charm and character. The peaceful surroundings and the warm welcome from Marion and Graeme add up to a special time. Our room was well appointed and spotless and the en-suite bathroom was pristine. Breakfast is of a high quality and very tasty. Kippers, sausages... More
