Had an overnight stay on a DB&B summer deal. Hotel a bit dated but the room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and meals were fine. For what we paid we have no complaints. Newtonmore and surrounding areas are lovely.

Spent a couple of days staying here B&B. We had a triple room and had booked here as they allowed us to have our dog. The room was good sized, clean and comfortable if a little dated. The rest of the hotel is also a little dated but in good condition and pleasant. We ate in the bar and the... More

We had a two night stay here with Dinner bed and breakfast. The room was functional with the usual TV and other stuff. It's very quiet, so you should have no trouble getting to sleep. The Dinner was average fare, with a noticeably small Dinner Plate - I suppose to make the dinner look more than it was? The WI-FI... More

Typical motor lodge-type hotel with large tour groups. Clean room although shower didn't get that hot. Nice lounge for customers with free wifi. Tasty full cooked breakfast included in price of room. Good service and friendly staff. Would stay again.

Booked on a 2 nights B&B with Dinner on first night. £99 total for 2 of us. Seemed too good to be true! We were wary, having read some of the reviews on this site. We were not disappointed. Arrived 1430 (check in from 1500) to a warm, friendly welcome. Room available. Large room and bathroom. Very clean . Clock... More

We stayed two nights in the hotel with dinner the first night. Food was wholesome and reasonable portions, Staff friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant, WiFi in reception/lounge only which was a bit disappointing, room was quite big and very clean with a good very big comfortable bed. The Hotel is bit dated and a little tired but good... More

Staying here for 2 nights with my parents, we were more than happy with the accommodation and service we received. The staff were pleasant efficient, and the manager showed an interest in us and made several helpful suggestions to enhance our service. The range of choice in the menu was perhaps a little limited, but the food was of good... More

Just returned from a three night stay at this hotel. I'll be honest, I only booked it because it was cheap and close to the hills I intended to climb over my stay. I wasn't expecting anything more than a bed for the night but boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. My welcome was so warm despite the reception... More

My wife and I have just returned from a 2-night stay in the Highlander and before writing my review I had a look at several previous reviews and must say a few appear to be overly picky. Our double room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom didn't have the tub the wife would have preferred but the shower was... More
