My sister and I travelled to Scotland and Ireland this past summer. Out of the approximately 12 B&B's we stayed at in both countries, this was the best overall B&B we were at. The room was spacious, clean, and beautiful. The location is beautiful, with rugged little mountains surrounding the area. As a songwriter/writer, taking a 5 minute walk down... more

We first stayed at Crubenbeg in summer 2007 on our honeymoon. What a great find we made on the internet. Everything about our stay was great. The location, the house, John, Irene & Raja the dog, the hospitality, the food, mmmm those breakfasts! We had such an enjoyable time. Our Pinemarten room on the groundfloor had the good wheelchair access... more

My husband and I stayed here in June with another couple. We were treated very well. Proprietors John and Irene were exceptional hosts. Besides the great breakfast options, Irene offers an occastional dinner. She's a wonderful cook. They try to meet any request: my husband and our friend wanted to fish in the nearby Spey River. Irene connected them with... more

We booked three nights on the strength of other reviews and we were not disappointed. This is a first rate guest house with everything one hopes to have in the way of home comforts....and more. We were made very welcome and because of the immaculate standard of the room, we had the feeling that we were the first people to... more

The approach to this guest house by car is breathtaking. Although located only a minute or two from the A9, it is truly tranquil and surrounded by amazing views to all aspects. On arrival we were welcomed with a pot of tea and slice of Irene's amazing homemade cake. The guest house has a full range of tourist attraction brochures... more

We spent one night here on our way back home after a visit to family further North. The house is only a few hundred metres from the main road but this was a plus rather than a minus as it was a snowy day and a trip up ungritted single track roads would not have been nice. The house has... more

Have just spent a wonderful Christmas at Crubenbeg House. John and Irene just make your stay wonderful in every way. Good food, good wine and great company. Elsa, our dog, enjoyed it too, as well as the long walks. more

An excellent area to explore with accomodation that exceeded the expectations of a 4 star holiday cottage. Truly pet friendly too which was a real bonus for us. We stayed in the ash cottage which had recently been renovated and had all the mod cons we needed. We recieved a great reception from the owners who were on hand for... more

We booked via the internet and finalized arrangements by phone. When we arrived the drive up to the property was beautiful over a river and through fields. All was so pretty and well maintained, we got such a nice surprise we couldnt wait to see the room. We were given a tour and shown the dinning room and our room.... more
