What an impressive welcome - From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and offered a safe and secure place for our motorcycle which was very reassuring. There was an offer of a hot drink along with a choice of cakes and biscuits which was much needed after our journey. Amanda sat us down in the main lounge where... More

From the minute we arrived Amanda made us feel at home. Larick House is a great B&B in a superb location. We had a twin room with ensuite which was bright, clean and had everything you need and more.....Stag honey whisky and a whole packet of shortbread much to my husbands delight :-) You had a great choice at breakfast... No request is too much trouble for Amanda and her knowledge of the local area is second to none. We've stayed here six times and have never been disappointed with the service, cleanliness, hospitality, wifi coverage, quietness of the location, stunning scenery or quality of the breakfasts. We will always make this our interim stop on our journey to Orkney.

Amanda is the perfect owner/hostess--inviting you into her home with the warmth of , "Won't you come in and have a cup of tea?" There are two en suite rooms and two that share a bathroom. We stayed in Room 4--a twin-bedded one that shares the first floor bathroom with Room 3. Not a problem at all--no noise from room... More

Your stay starts with a warm welcome from your hostess, a cup of tea or coffee in the cosy guests lounge room. Amanda's knowledge of activities, local restaurants and hotels, sights to see is extensive. A really nice place to stay either overnight or longer in the Cairngorms, good base for local area. For breakfast there is a great choice... More

If you want a B & B in a superb setting in a lovely part of the North of Scotland which is run by a most intelligent and charming lady with a great way of making guests welcome then this is the place to stay on Speyside. The rooms are extremely well appointed and scrupulously clean. The breakfast service is... More

Amanda made us very welcome and is obviously keen to please the guests to her home. All the breakfast produce is locally sourced and I can recommend the homemade rhubarb and ginger preserve! The dining/lounge was homely and our room was clean with some additional "little treats" placed on the welcome tray.

I think we did very well with our choice of B&B's for our short trip round the Highlands and this is another top notch place. We booked just 1 night stay, well in advance, but when I was confirming it by email the week before I found out it was Amanda's Birthday and she was away for the weekend so... More

Well what can I say. Arrived on hogmanay and was met by Amanda at the b&b. A warm welcome was what we got. Amanda very friendly and helpful. Room cosy and bed very comfortable. Breakfast on new years day was at 11am. Just as well due to being a late night on hogmanay at the torch light procession. The breakfast... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay in this good standard accommodation. Yes the bedroom and ensuite on the ground floor are a little small but they have all that is needed and it was all very clean and bright. There was no television in the bedroom although there was one in the guest (shared) lounge type area, which might not... More
