We recently spent 2 nights here with a Trafalgar Tour, and it was as wonderful as the reviews we read said it was. The owners provided excellent service, the accommodation was relaxed and private, and the food was excellent. We had a wonderful room, with a beautiful view of the countryside and we awoke to the soft sounds of sheep... More

We stayed as part of a Trafalgar tour group. Our stay in Laggan Gaskmore was relaxing and comfortable. The staff were outstanding in their service helpful in all respects. The views from the dining and lounge rooms are awe-inspiring and contributed to the ambiance of the hotel. The long summer evening enabled us to take full advantage of this beautiful,... More

Ok, sure not the Hilton as some have pointed out, but that's the point! The hotel is so relaxing and peaceful I hated to leave. Open the windows or sit outside and listen to nature and relax! The views are breathtaking. This was part of our Trafalger tour and was a great break from the touristy areas. The family that... More

We came here as a part of a group tour. It is a charming and beautifully kept property. The surrounding area is gorgeous, green and serene. The couple who manage the hotel and their staff are very good and the food is superb. The rooms are extremely comfortable. I did not miss any amenities. Unfortunately, we had only a night's... More

If you book this place you must already know its in the middle of nowhere and theres nothing around it for miles. Also its an old traditional pub - don't expect up to date modern furnishings and fittings. The room was really oldy-worldly but roomy, clean & cosy and everything I needed. Plenty of heating and thick dunas for those... More

We stayed two nights at the Laggan Gaskmore Hotel in Laggan, UK, with our Trafalgar tour group on August 25, 2013. This family owned country hotel was clean, friendly and welcoming. My husband and I loved the quaint country atmosphere with views of the mountains and grazing animals. It may be a little off the beaten track but it was... More

We were part of a tour group ... basically took all the rooms in the hotel. This was a very nice, warm family run hotel. While not fancy in any way, comfortable rooms were more than adequate. It reminded me of places stayed long ago when traveling with my parents or when newly married& there was not much money to... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Laggan Gaskmore Hotel. The old fashioned room keys took some getting used to though! The hotel was clean and the rooms were fairly standard. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an excellent 3 course meal in the hotel and as I was travelling with a tour group, we were the only... More
