We stayed two nights at the Laggan Gaskmore Hotel in Laggan, UK, with our Trafalgar tour group on August 25, 2013. This family owned country hotel was clean, friendly and welcoming. My husband and I loved the quaint country atmosphere with views of the mountains and grazing animals. It may be a little off the beaten track but it was... More

We were part of a tour group ... basically took all the rooms in the hotel. This was a very nice, warm family run hotel. While not fancy in any way, comfortable rooms were more than adequate. It reminded me of places stayed long ago when traveling with my parents or when newly married& there was not much money to... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Laggan Gaskmore Hotel. The old fashioned room keys took some getting used to though! The hotel was clean and the rooms were fairly standard. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an excellent 3 course meal in the hotel and as I was travelling with a tour group, we were the only... More

I stayed here in October as part of a tour group and as many others I loved it. The owners, Janet and David are so helpful and kind. Their children help with many chores and made us feel so at home. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfy. My room looked out on a huge pine tree and... More

A very charming hotel run by the owner and his friendly staff. Rooms are reasonable size with good view of the Scottish mountain. Breakfast and dinner were of high quality. Don't miss the dessert. The lounge was cosy with several binoculars for bird watching. Surprise, surrise - free wifi with good speed - you need to ask for the password.... More

Stayed here for a night as part of my trafalgar tour. Love the location even though it's in the middle of nowhere! If you are looking for a place to relax and feel at home, this is definitely the best hotel for you. I am an adventurous type of person and never in my imagination had I thought I could... More

We stayed there for 2 nights while on a Trafalgar Best of Scotland tour also -- this place was a welcome change from the large chain hotel where we stayed the previous 2 nights -- our room overlooked the beautiful fields dotted with sheep & the service was exceptional - there's nothing bad to say about it -- I'd stay... This small homely family-run hotel is a gem in the Scottish Highland. We thoroughly enjoyed our short but delightful 1 night stay here as part of our tour of Scotland. The elevated 20+ rooms hotel in Aviemore, near the Cairngorms National Park, is well managed with the husband (executive chef) & the wife (front of the house reception, restaurant &... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in 9/13. A really nice place. It reminds me of a Bed & Breakfast, small town, local hard-working people. They really couldn't do enough for us. Anything we asked for was, no problem! There is a Reception area and Desk, a few overstuffed chairs around the fireplace (Living Room), a Conservatory (Sun room) with... More
