Stayed one night with my partner as a post New Year's Eve get away and what a great hotel. Location is nice and quiet with several pubs only a stroll away. The pub itself was great, fireplace, pool and darts with very friendly staff, gutted I didn't give the marmalade vodka a try, but that's a good excuse for a... More

A nice place to stay for a family get together. We took 3 rooms which were cosy & pleasant. Friendly host & staff looked after us very well. Especially enjoyed the lovely breakfasts looking out over the river and the evenings around the fire.

Jamie was a good host. He helped us with ideas for walks and other information. We went on a nice walk to the hill fort and then up the Yat. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and had a great view. We enjoyed our stay.

I stayed for one night and liked it more each hour I stayed. A friendly, genuine welcome made me feel welcome and a couple of hours reflecting up on a busy day whilst watching the Wye laze by was a perfect end to my day. Tasty, piping hot served by the fire was excellent and Jamie's genial hosting perfect. The... More

Stopped in here for a drink at the weekend and it's a nice little pub. We asked the bar man about the ferry service to the other side and he said that neither this pub nor the Saracens pub ferry run at this time of year, so wanting to visit the other side we drove around. On reaching the pub,... More

The location of this hotel is excellent for both walking and canoeing, situated on the banks of the Wye in a beautifully quiet spot. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on the food, except for the breakfast, which was superb. A cosy bar, with log fire, made for a very... More

We spent a rather wet Sunday night there. The location right on the river was stunning, the food in the pub was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. What really stood out was the friendly, relaxed, nothing was too much trouble service. If you are staying in the area stay here!

Ye Old Ferrie Inn was great. We stayed for two nights, dinner, bed and breakfast. The Inn is right beside the river and a ferry can take you across when the water level is not too high. We particularly enjoyed the log fires, friendly staff, friendly locals in the bar, great food and a good selection of beers, wines and... More

Only here for a night before we took to the water in a canoe for the weekend. Well located right beside the canoe hire it's the perfect place to start your adventure. Hearty meals for dinner and breakfast with a good selection of ales. Sitting outside beside the river makes for a very peaceful evening Rooms were basic but clean... More

Great location, tasty food and friendly staff. Our room was warm and comfortable, if a little tired in décor, but the pub itself more than made up for that! Good range of ales available in the bar, and hearty food portions which are good value for money. Excellent base for activities and walking.
