We stayed on the La Manga site for 2 months to obtain the cheapest rate. This is a site you will either love or hate ! The shower blocks are in desperate need of improvement and the hot water system needs replacing. The toilets are clean, but very, very old and dated. The major asset of this site is the... More

Arrived for 1 night on route to Granada in our motorhome , after allocation of a pitch we noticed a big pool of water under our van , we managed to get on our pitch to find out our radiator was leaking badly . Reception gave us a number of a local motorhome dealer and on them seeing it ,... More

On arrival, whilst queueing for check-in, a very angry man entered reception complaining that his bikes had been stolen off of his motorhome. Not the fault of the camp site, but their response was along the lines of "yeh whatever, not our problem". They couldn't be less interested or helpful. Stupidly, I continued with check-in, when I should have just... More

We decided upon this campsite as we had been free camping the previous few nights and wanted the comfort of a campsite for a change. However, even on first impressions it wasn't great. The campsite is huge. When we went to reception there was someone complaining that his bikes had been stolen from the back of his motorhome with a... More

Huge area, many permanent-looking shacks and campervans. 'Beach' was very unattractive: grey sand and dead jellyfish in the water. Wifi - paid $6 for two days. Connection very bad. Don't bother. Would not recommend or stay here again. Reception staff very friendly and helpful by the way!

I was fortunate enough to secure early retirement from work in Sep 2012 (my wife was already retired and waiting!) and so we elected to spend winter in Spain. We are accustomed to European camping trips having enjoyed them since 1987 and so we are accustomed to European campsites but this would be the longest trip away we had ever... More

We have stayed at this campsite for the past two years in the period up to and just after Christmas, for between one and two months. The site is huge and this was a bit of a worry - would it be squalid and messy. We don't think so, and we have been impressed just how well it is run.... More

Whilst motorhoming during late summer 2012 my husband and I thought we would try La Manga. We had seen the website which I now realise has some very clever photography showing the sandy beach with swaying palms. We went on 14th October, '12 expecting to stay a week or so. Check in was quick and friendly, we were allocated a... More

We visited friends staying here and found the whole set up to be fantastic. Right off the main road 2 km just outside the main entrance onto mar menor la manga. Clean with all the camping facilities one could need. Very reasonable and a great way to spend time with the whole family . Enjoy.

Stayed here for a week in May and really enjoyed it. Nice large plots most with easy access for larger vehicles. Two sizes of plots available, 80 and 100 sq mtrs respectively, your choice just a bit dearer thats all. Nice bar on the beach offering cooked breakfasts for the Brits but also good value meals during the day and... More
