Good signage and easy find by car into a very well located Parador near to old town and sea-front. Apart from a dour receptionist our stay in this Parador was excellent. A very welcome and good sized pool on a particularly hot day. We went for a walk before dinner into old Square where they were preparing a stage for... More

The room and facilities at the Parador are superb with AC and really lovely bar staff. The only criticism is of the reception desk where the staff are pretty grumpy and not particularly welcoming. it was a shame because all the other staff were lovely. We stayed in the Ribadomar the next night and it was not nearly as good... More

The best thing about this parador is the location, right in the centre of Cambados but giving the impression of being in a secluded country house. I do agree with other reviews, reception is rather stiff there is no eye-contact at all. Our other complaint was that they advertised the tennis court but when our children wanted to use it... More

This is lovely Parador set in a beautiful historic building with all the modern amenities. Pretty gardens, nice big spread at breakfast. You can read the other reviews. What is important to know is that it is located across the street from the ocean. However, the tide here is quite large, and twice a day you have a big mud... More

We used Parador de Cambados as the base for exploring the Rias Baixas. The location is perfect as it is by the sea and with short drives to the highway/main road which does the North/South corridor and also close by the sea roads to Grove and other places you want to visit nearby. The hotel is a Pazo and it... More

This is a very comfortable intimate hotel with lovely rooms and lovely gardens and lounges. Cambados the town itself is not brilliant however and the whole west coast of Spain is built up in a completely uncontrolled fashion so that there is a long ribbon of mixed tourist, industrial and residential development which has almost completely spoiled the coast. The... More

We traveled to Cambados for a friends wedding. We arrived at the hotel for a 3 night stay. Welcome Not warm at all, no background to hotel or area. Just info on breakfast at the hotel which we did not book. Rooms Basic for a 4*. Old blankets on the bed. We were in room 230, could hear people talking... More

We stayed here for a night during a mid-February tour of Galicia. The hotel was very easy to find in the town and there is ample parking. The Parador is situated in a large villa and is very calm and relaxing. For the summer months there is a large out door pool area. Rooms are generous and well furnished to... More

Great hotel by the sea in pleasant town of Cambados. We didn't eat in the hotel at all but loved the room. The decor of the public rooms and corridors were great with beautiful paintings and antiques. Another very cheap Parador which was hard to fault. Didn't try out the swimming pool but looked quite inviting before the storm came.... More

First impressions are so important. We'll not so in a parador! We were made to feel that we were really a great inconvenience. Maybe they were all exhausted after a busy season. The room was clean and comfortable and we were very happy until we tried to get wi fi. Oh well never mind we'll head for the lounge and... More
