This is lovely Parador set in a beautiful historic building with all the modern amenities. Pretty gardens, nice big spread at breakfast. You can read the other reviews. What is important to know is that it is located across the street from the ocean. However, the tide here is quite large, and twice a day you have a big mud... More

We used Parador de Cambados as the base for exploring the Rias Baixas. The location is perfect as it is by the sea and with short drives to the highway/main road which does the North/South corridor and also close by the sea roads to Grove and other places you want to visit nearby. The hotel is a Pazo and it... More

This is a very comfortable intimate hotel with lovely rooms and lovely gardens and lounges. Cambados the town itself is not brilliant however and the whole west coast of Spain is built up in a completely uncontrolled fashion so that there is a long ribbon of mixed tourist, industrial and residential development which has almost completely spoiled the coast. The... More

We traveled to Cambados for a friends wedding. We arrived at the hotel for a 3 night stay. Welcome Not warm at all, no background to hotel or area. Just info on breakfast at the hotel which we did not book. Rooms Basic for a 4*. Old blankets on the bed. We were in room 230, could hear people talking... More

We stayed here for a night during a mid-February tour of Galicia. The hotel was very easy to find in the town and there is ample parking. The Parador is situated in a large villa and is very calm and relaxing. For the summer months there is a large out door pool area. Rooms are generous and well furnished to... More

Great hotel by the sea in pleasant town of Cambados. We didn't eat in the hotel at all but loved the room. The decor of the public rooms and corridors were great with beautiful paintings and antiques. Another very cheap Parador which was hard to fault. Didn't try out the swimming pool but looked quite inviting before the storm came.... More

First impressions are so important. We'll not so in a parador! We were made to feel that we were really a great inconvenience. Maybe they were all exhausted after a busy season. The room was clean and comfortable and we were very happy until we tried to get wi fi. Oh well never mind we'll head for the lounge and... More

..so you basically know what you're getting i.e. a pleasant historical building with clean, comfortable rooms and a good, if pricey restaurant. I guess if we hadn't spent a week in paradors before we arrived we might have been a bit more charmed by the building, staff or rooms, but whilst this is nice there is nothing that makes it... More

Located in the old part of the town and one minute from the sea front this is a characterful parador. The decor is the same as in other paradors and is very comfortable. A swimming pool and tennis court plus a delightful garden add to the charm of the place. Decent range at breakfast. Parking outside for those arriving by... More

This Parador is quite alright and relatively inexpensive if booked via booking.com. Usual quality of room and overall feel of the place and secure parking, free wi-fi all contribute to well-being. Beware that whilst very good, the extra charge for breakfast is expensive and you may be better to go into town. We followed TA testimonies about the restaurant and... More
