Hospitable welcome to this rather unassuming Bodega that tucked away in a pleasant enough town. Cambados us a great stopping place but not necessarily a place to visit... Unless you stay at Pazo Capitana, where you simply won't want to leave. Rooms sympathetically reproduce a bygone era and then there's wine. Even if that's the only reason you go...It's worth... I admit that I was disappointed when we arrived in the town of Cambados, but as soon as we arrived at the hotel I knew we had made the right choice. It feels like you're out in the country and the inner courtyard with grape vines and patios is simply stunning. (Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy much of it... More

What a find was this place. This hotel or bed & breakfast, if you like, is situated in a very old bodega. The bodega is still in use and they produce a very nice Albarino wine. They also destill from the grape skins some heavy stuff like grappa. If you stay here you will taste some amounts of it. The rooms... More

We ( 3 of us ) have spent 3 days at Pazo a Capitana in August 2014 and it has been our best experience in our 2 weeks motorcycle trip trip to Spain and Portugal . First of all the Estate is very beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable . Secondly , the staff was very kind , offering... More

I visited this hotel for just one night as part of a tour of Galacia. The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the historic centre with its bars and restaurants. There is a nice large and safe car park next to the hotel. The hotel itself is very traditional in a rustic style. There is a lovely outdoor terrace... More

We highly recommend this 11 room rural hotel as a special place to stay. We enjoyed wine-tasting, a walk around the grounds, and an excellent breakfast. It is easy to stroll Into the town from the hotel. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful. To find pazo a Capitana if driving along the coastal road from the north, drive through... More

Beautiful patio where you can enjoy cool white wine for free. The hotel has large garden and vineyard to stroll. Good restaurants and bar are 10 min walk. Better to stay several days to relax yourself.

We stayd here during a winetrip in october. Pazo a Capitana is a very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful historic building. Rooms are large, unique with comfortable and beautiful furniture that suits the indoor environment perfectly. The vineyard and tranquility of the garden is a very nice facility. despite the tranquility it is centrally located with a short walk to... More

Trying to finish up my last reviews of our wine trip in September/October before our holidays begin. The PAZA A CAPITANA actually offers its visitors 11 rooms to stay in the midst of this magnificent piece of land just a short walk from the center of the town. This property dates back to the 15th century. The rates for the... More
