We stayed at Camping Moby Dick and loved it. It was very cute, with beautiful pine trees and Mediterrranean plants, very well decorated. It had terraced places that made sure you remained in your private area. It is walking distance from the centre of Calella de Palafrugell and only a couple minutes to the lovely beaches. We stayed here during a backpacking trip around Europe. The camp site was adequate (it may have been updated since as it is a long time ago that I went there). It is a very small campsite. The village of Calella de Palafrugel is lovely though with nice restaurants and little beaches. more

We booked a 2 bedroomed log cabin over the internet and chose this site because it was family run, quiet and '100 mtrs' from the beach. Our accommodation was at the top of a hill, at least 10 mins walk from reception, so nowhere near the beach. The '2 bedrooms' were actually bunk beds with a mezzanine in the roof... more
