This small establishment has many high points and one or two lows. Don't pick this location if you want to go to the beach - it's a long way and the roads are twisty. We didn't want beach, and felt that the highs far outweighed the lows. As other reviewers have said, the location has unparalleled views across to Morocco,... more

El Nobo does have a wonderful view, that's true. The road getting their is a bit of adventure, but that's well-documented. Upon arriving, we were show our room, but never given any tour of the place. We did not know where to get a drink, breakfast etc. Our room didn't have a key. Overall, the service was very disappointing. Other... more

Stayed for one night on the way back to Malaga airport. The location of the house is outstanding with superb views of Andalucia as far as Gibraltar. It's a very relaxing place to stay and unwind, especially by the side of the infinity pool with its stunning views. Our room was very large but a bit chintzy - we weren't... more

I spent two weeks at El Nobo in early March and was so taken with the house that I have decided to write my first ever trip advisor recomendation. I rent houses on the continent all the time and it's so rare that you find a place perfect - but this one is. Everything about this place is spot on.... more

Wonderful stay, but not long enough! We had booked for a night at El Nobo, but when we arrived late at night found we had been transferred into the villa. What luck! Private with a stunning view. Lovely, spacious and homely feeling. Great balcony, and facilities. Nice touches and details. Our hosts had even provisionally booked a table at the... more

The road form Caucin to El Nobo takes some minutes and gives you the possibility to left all sorrows behind. The charasteric house is situaded in one of the nicest envirements of Spain. With patio's, fountains... more

When you drive through the gates at el nobo you feel as though you've entered a secret garden, an undiscovered and enchanted place. It is magical. We stayed in the self catering cottage La Bumba, which was gorgeous. The weather was the only disappointing thing for us (but we chose Andalucia in February so that's our problem) - La Bumba... more

We stayed at El Nobo for one night whilst en route between Ronda and Seville, having discovered it through Alistair Sawday. We wish now that we had had time to stay for longer. It was everything we had hoped it would be and more...driving down the bumpy track to the property you feel you are escaping to another world- it really... more

We didn't make it to El Nobo which is a shame because it looked wonderful and we were really looking forward to a special time away. We called and verbally confirmed on two seperate occaisons with the host and hostess availability of the villa and private pool. After receiving an email conformation that they were holding the villa for us... more
