Just returned from a ten day stay at this wonderful accommodation in the very pretty and authentic mountain village of Gaucin . So much thought and style has been used to create a very special place to stay - stunning views over the med to morocco and little small touches from plump white towels and moorish influence deco make this... This was by far the highlight of our families trip. That and Steve serenading us poolside! Honestly the patio of the Mill house is pretty close to heaven. Breakfast was croissant from the deli, a few steps from the house, set out on that beautiful table was a daily blessing. Finishing the day out there was equally inspiring. I wouldn't... More

We have just spent two weeks here with our teenage children, our eldest in Don Jose Chambers and the rest of us split our visit between Smugglers and Casa Carmen. The managers Steve and Jan made us very welcome and responded very quickly to any query, (mainly to do with the wifi). The apartments are very well kept, with comfortable... More

I spent a relaxing few days with my wife and 5 year old son in Gaucin staying at the family run & family friendly Molino del Carmen apartments. The accommodation was first class and had a real authentic feel of Spain, with all the comforts of home. Lots of nice touches in the apartment from satellite tv and dvd selections... More

Gaucin is one of those amazing little pueblo blancos that are dotted around Andalucia, it has a very unique, artistic feel (and indeed there was an art display show on the week after we left) I think it comes from the mountains that surround it and the amazing blue skies. I can imagine many creative people have been drawn there... More

The Molino is in a picture perfect setting with views that will take your breath away. The accommodation is traditional and very clean with a wonderful heated pool to cool down in. Not an easy place to find so do make sure you receive directions from the Molino if you are hiring a car.

Have been terribly remiss in not reviewing this property when we have stayed 3 times in past couple of years while visiting relative in the village. previously we have stayed twice in the cosily romantic Don Jose Chambers and this last time(as DJC wasn't available) in the more modern curved wall. The apartments have always been spotlessly clean, with well... More

This charming tangle of apartments is well located in Gaucin and if you want to stay in this small town you will be able to walk everywhere from here - and will be fitter by the time you leave due to the hilliness of the place. We stayed in La Frasquita, perfect for a couple and our friend was in... More

My boyfriend and I arrived to a warm welcome by the manger who proceeded to make sure we were perfectly settled in. He gave us background information about the quaint village of Gaucin and made us feel at home and at ease. We stayed in the Smugglers Apartment. Two gorgeous bedrooms to choose from, it was difficult to decide! What... More

This was our first stay in Gaucin, and we were not disappointed. We stayed in Escamillo's Villa which was absolutely stunning. Waking up in the master bedroom with the magnificent view was the best possible start to any day. Taking two teenage sons, we were a little concerned if they would have enough to do. We shouldn't have worried. The... More
