This charming tangle of apartments is well located in Gaucin and if you want to stay in this small town you will be able to walk everywhere from here - and will be fitter by the time you leave due to the hilliness of the place. We stayed in La Frasquita, perfect for a couple and our friend was in... More

My boyfriend and I arrived to a warm welcome by the manger who proceeded to make sure we were perfectly settled in. He gave us background information about the quaint village of Gaucin and made us feel at home and at ease. We stayed in the Smugglers Apartment. Two gorgeous bedrooms to choose from, it was difficult to decide! What... More

This was our first stay in Gaucin, and we were not disappointed. We stayed in Escamillo's Villa which was absolutely stunning. Waking up in the master bedroom with the magnificent view was the best possible start to any day. Taking two teenage sons, we were a little concerned if they would have enough to do. We shouldn't have worried. The... More

When we booked these apartments I wondered if we were going to find enough to do and a variety of retaurants to eat out in. I need not have worried the location is brilliant. A real Andulucian mountain village, plenty of tapas bars and enough restaurants to keep us amused for the fortnight. Excellent base for visiting the likes of... More

For our family of six, this large, well appointed house suited us perfectly for a week's getaway during our european trip. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and couch, plus hideaway's for our teenagers to hook into the wifi were all appreciated greatly. Alan and Hosea made us feel very welcome, and provided much appreciated local knowlege of shops and tapas... More

After a few days with friends in Cadiz, we headed for a week in Gaucin to relax and unwind. We knew and loved Ronda but had never visited this hilltop village. We hoped that our choice of accommodation and location would live up to our expectations. We were not disappointed! It was perfect. Molino del Carmen is a delightful mill... More

Stepping through the solid wooden door into Molino del Carmen you emerge into an oasis of elegance & peace. Molino del Carmen offers fantastic accommodation in a beautiful setting. Staying in Smuggler's Suite, we had amazing views across the village to the ruins of the castle (Castillo el Alguila) and the magnificent Sierra Crestallina. The living area is huge &... More

Thank you very much for your review! We just wanted to add that all apartments save for Dancaire's Den have their own private terraces. Hope to welcome you back one day soon! More

We stayed in The Smugglers of the Molino for 10 days, and, unusually for us, we didn't want to leave to come home. The apartment was very well maintained, with a sunny, southerly aspect, and a lovely view across the valley to the mountains. The kitchen is well equipped, and the veranda outside, overlooking the swimming pool, is perfect for... More

The Molino is lovely - our apartment itself was tastefully and comfortably furnished, with interesting touches and everything we needed (including loads of towels). We didn't really use most of it, but it had a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, microwave, oven etc. The communal area is the pool, with sun-loungers and parasols is excellent. We were there the... More

We stayed in The La Frasquita for 6 nights. Although it doesn't have the view of the other apartments it is perfectly situated by the pool. Our children loved the bunk room with its brightly coloured bed spreads and rug. The master bedroom is beautifully bright and airy and very comfortable. And the bathroom has a great shower over the... More
