Generally I do not like the "luxury hotel on the sea with big pool" kind of place. It does sound good but when one gets there, often one founds itself (i) in the middle of nowhere, so in practice bound to remain inside the resort eating overpriced medium to low quality food, (ii) in a very crowded environment. Being surrounded... More

I love the parador and the location but the room tyding sometimes is very late. The cafeteria service is very slow... spanish time! Now they are changing to almost full eating service and i dont like it.so next year i'll be leaving at 5 aug. the breakfast is very nice and the servants are wonderful. The cooks are always present!

2 days spent here in this hacienda-style Parador has been a refreshing and relaxing experience. A fantastic location above the stunning beach makes this a must-do visit for those looking for a real escape. Nice pool, lovely pool-side restaurant, great views and stunning sunsets. A great place to recharge the batteries and rekindle those romances. And I thoroughly recommend a... More

We have been coming to this hotel every 2/3 years for about 20 years because its such a great location for exploring the Donana and bird-watching at El Rocio. We prefer the beach to the pool (although its a good pool) and climbing the steps back up from the beach makes you think you have deserved your lunch or dinner.... More

The label "parador" stands for quality and luxury in the SPanish vocabulary, so one has expectations when it comes to staying at one. After three days there I can sadly say I was happy to go, in spite of its gorgeous natural setting. This is mainly due to poor attention to detail and worse service. The food wasn't better than... This parador is a very nice beach parador, in particular due to the beautiful beach it has. We were there in the beginning of June, and it was nearly deserted. The hotel is also in the national park, which is interesting. The hotel has also a spa and I gave my self a treat with a massage nearly every day... More

I'm having trouble with what I though of the Parador de Mazagon; the location is fantastic and the views - when you get them - stunning but I think this is where the problems start. The hotel does n't feel that news and things in design terms have definitely moved on since it was built. For example the pool has... More

I have not stayed at this parador, but have enjoyed several meals there. There is something inherently relaxing about this place, the smell of the pine trees, great views to the sea, and lovely grounds. The food is simple and tasty - not a gourmet experience, but well cooked and typical of the region. As other reviewers have noted the... More

This is an excellent parador. Comfortable rooms with great sea views. Excellent restaurant and also bar snacks on terrace. Heated pool for all year round. Down steps to a "wild" beach. Bars, etc. in nearby Mazagon town - 6k. Ideal for visiting the Cota Donana - fantastic! - and El Rocio. Also near Huelva. Great place for a relaxing holiday.

A beautiful, relaxing setting on a cliff top overlooking the sea. . Wild windswept beach at the bottom of staircase from Parador gardens, deserted at this time of year except for a few fisherman. Wonderful typical Spanish food in the restaurant. Only gripe would be that rates are a little expensive at this time of year compared to other hotels... More
