We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel - it is quite, nice place with great garden and nice pool. Beach access is little complicated but the beach was empty. Little overprized but good services. It is better to have a car to go around.

A long drive to get here as you can't drive through Coto Donana national park for good reason. The beach is lovely and unspoilt (in January...) Not really 4 star, I guess that's why the spa. The building is rather 1960s and could do with a rehash. It is isolated so we ate in the restaurant, but it was a...

Fantastic hotel , a bit old style, but very nice. Be aware a flight of 100 steps will lead you straight to the sea (and the beach is nice!). If you do not fancy walking back up, you can always stay in the swimming pool, which is also nice.
The restaurant is really good (but think of booking for dinner)....

Long drive from Merida and landed in Mazagon. What a treat! This is best Parador I have visited. Location by sea and view is wonderful. Spent 3 days and really relaxed. Great pool and lovely beach. Food super with great wine. We took a trip National park Donana well worth a visit, ideally in Spring. Hotel provided early breakfast for...

I really enjoyed staying here. After the heat of Seville, this was a perfect place to relacs. Make sure you get room on 1st floor with a view to the sea!
Good location for visiting the surrounding area. There are fascinating places to visit nearby associated with Christopher Columbus (such as the excellent Monasterio de Rabida and Palos de la Frontera). It is relatively close to Doñana National Park (although this, like all visitor attractions nearby, seem to be closed on Mondays!) and an easy drive to El Rocio.

Other reviewers have already noted many of the advantages of this parador: its idyllic, peaceful location, its affordable prices (especially in the off-season), its tasty meals. All of these were indeed highlights, and had we only stayed at the parador for the four nights we originally planned, we would’ve left the Pardor de Mazagon quite happy.
But sometimes life throws...

24 hours before we arrived at this hotel we had not even heard of Mazagon. We had planned to stay in Jerez de la Frontera at the Barcelo Montecastillo and found it just not up to standard. Some swift research and phoning around and the Parador at Mazagon could fit us in for our dates.
Our inital impresssion was of...

Incredible location, in front of the sea, far from any other hotels or buildings, in the middle of the nature. Good views and swimming pool.
I have stayed in a number of paradors and this one is the worst. The overall appearance is outdated and lacking in style - felt the place was in need of modernisation and a facelift in many places. The restaurant lacks warmth and the food was very disappointing indeed. The location is attractive, but the approach, via the factories of...
