I have not stayed at this parador, but have enjoyed several meals there. There is something inherently relaxing about this place, the smell of the pine trees, great views to the sea, and lovely grounds. The food is simple and tasty - not a gourmet experience, but well cooked and typical of the region. As other reviewers have noted the... More

This is an excellent parador. Comfortable rooms with great sea views. Excellent restaurant and also bar snacks on terrace. Heated pool for all year round. Down steps to a "wild" beach. Bars, etc. in nearby Mazagon town - 6k. Ideal for visiting the Cota Donana - fantastic! - and El Rocio. Also near Huelva. Great place for a relaxing holiday.

A beautiful, relaxing setting on a cliff top overlooking the sea. . Wild windswept beach at the bottom of staircase from Parador gardens, deserted at this time of year except for a few fisherman. Wonderful typical Spanish food in the restaurant. Only gripe would be that rates are a little expensive at this time of year compared to other hotels... More

The best thing about this hotel is its location, set on a cliff top over looking the sea and beach. The building itself is not particularly attractive but the grounds and facilities are very good. The view from our room was excellent, looking out over the garden towards the sea. Our room was very spacious and well equipped but beginning... More

A bit disconcerting driving down to the hotel from Huelva, I thought we were heading for either a refinery or the port but the road from Huelva goes between them. A car is a necessity unless you like large taxi bills. A pleasant enough room on the ground floor. Not much of a view, rooms 50-59 looked like the best... More

This is the perfect place to relax if you've been on a long tour of historical sites in Spain. We only spent one night here, but really enjoyed relaxing by the pool and in on the beach. Notably, the service was less than helpful. For example, the morning we arrived it had been drizzling. Later in the day, it was... More

We read many reviews and did wonder what we would find. We were welcomed very well and given our keys to our room,we had a wonderful view over the pool and out to sea. Ok it is a little dated but the rooms were very clean ,spacious and had everything you could need. We used the indoor pool and whirl... More

The hotel is isolated in the forest close to the national park. It is on a cliff overlooking the massive beach. It is stunning. wonderful rooms, huge grounds a swimming pools, indoor spa with swimming pool sauna gym and jacuzzi. The food is excellent. The staff are so helpful. The hotel rents bikes and will organise a trio to the... More

Beautiful location on top of the cliff, from where you can see great sunsets. Fitness testing stairs down to the beach (I counted over 180 steps), lovely beach goes on for ever to the east, sea was quite swimmable and warm when I was there. Lunch at the clifftop restaurant under the awning with a gentle sea breeze was just... More

We stayed in May. The setting is almost certainly unique place in the national park. The Hotel is the quite, green and ideal for to be the place to stay for a natural lover. The atmosphere is calm and civilised and much more of the guests are wealth retired travelers. You can access directly from the hotel to the sands... More
