We have just returned from a a weeks family holiday in Portugal and had booked the half board option at the hotel. The breakfast had plenty of variety and was always manned by helpful staff, as half board visitors we were given vouchers and given the option to dine at 3 different restaurant during our stay but having dined at... Stayed here for 2 weeks in October in a self catering apartment. Apartment was very spacious and well thought out, it was open plan with a TV dividing the lounge and bedroom, the TV could be swivelled round so you watch in either the lounge or the bedroom! We did cook in a couple of times, (I think we were... More

Stayed 3 nights at Alvor village. Very well equipped, very comfortable apartments with everything you could need. Spotlessly clean. Great facilities, and friendly staff. Good breakfast, and prices reasonable at hotel bar. Convenient location to Alvor village only 5 mins walk

We have a family owned appartment in Alvor and always have a very comfortable stay. If you love Portugal and would want to get away from the hustle and bustle but with everything you would need closeby try Alvor. If for no other reason than the beach is fabulous.

Came for a short break mid Oct. Room on 3rd floor, nice room with pleasant view over the pool & green valley. Modern very chiq designed room, comfy & also has kitchenette if you wanted to cook, incl' fridge & dishwasher. Bed firm, pillows ok, modern quiet AC system. Breakfast choice ok, apart from the soggy 'bacon/ham' offering which most... More

Bad experience as burgled on first night (ground floor corner). First receptionist excellent with reporting crime and being an interpreter. Very shocked by what had happened. Second receptionist told us after the police had been to have breakfast and GET OVER IT!!. Very shocked by her abrupt manner . We were then moved to another room where we had no... More

Just back from a lovely week at the Luna Alvor Village Hotel. Really nice hotel and perfect for little ones - we have a one year old. Baby pool is good, there are plenty of loungers and parasols, breakfast is what we expected and there was choice for our son - eggs, beans, bread, jam, yoghurts etc. The staff are... More
