The Hotel Union is placed up on a hill overlooking the fjord. The view from our balcony was amazing! The hotel is up to date and very clean. Our room was comfortable, spacious, had several outlets to charge phones/cameras, robes, and a separate toilet area from the vanity/shower area. Our bathroom had a tub and separate shower. The breakfast buffet... More

Very nice hotel with free parking and wifi. The hotel is just on the outskirts of the centre which takes around 10 minutes to walk or you can use the waterfall walk which has 305 steps. Our room 232 was very nice with great views over waterfall and fjord, although noise from waterfall may be excessive for some people if... More

We visited Norway for 3 weeks in July and our stay at the Union Hotel in Geiranger has been one of the best. The hotel enjoys a prime location in Geiranger with a beautiful view on the fjord. There are 2 pools indoor and outdoor which make it ideal for kids. The buffet restaurant will satisfy those that expect a... More

We travelled to Aukra, near Molde to friends of ours. We lent their car and drove a few days around, ofcourse we went to the great fjord area of Geiranger. It was about 5PM, so we looked for a place to stay. There we found this great hotel, because of October, the prices where nice low. It was really a... More

We have just stayed at one of the most beautiful locations that the world has to offer. Heir anger Fjord is breathtakingly beautiful and the Hotel Union sits directly above it. Our rooms had the most fantastic views. As you should expect from such a smart hotel, in such an idyllic location, service and quality were faultless. The welcome as... More

Norway is scenic and Geiranger Fjord is one of the most scenic places we've ever been. The view from the hotel is fantastic, if you can get it that is. We booked a long time in advance so room price was about right for Norway but of course we weren't given a room overlooking the fjord, but just the garden.... More

Modern hotel with tradition from 1880ies. Great view of one of the world`s most beautiful fjords. Breathtaking steps along waterfalls and river from the fjord and up to the hotel. Offers the best buffet dinner of any hotel I have visited in my 75 years of eating. For my wife and me one visit every summer is a must.

This hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy one of Norway's most beautiful fjords. Add to that the incredible, rushing waterfall and stream that runs alongside and in front of the property and this makes it a perfect place to enjoy the best of nature. There is a pathway with a lot of stairs that runs beside the waterfall.... More

This hotel is in pole position at the top of the waterfall with stunning views over Geiranger Fjord. We were there on a rare sunny day in July, and having hiked up there via hundreds of steps next to the spectacular waterfall from our cruise ship, we were parched and in need of a drink. A pint bottle of local... More

With only 4 hotels in Geiranger finding a room can be a challenge. We were stuck staying at this very expensive hotel. It was nice but mostly focuses on the extras. The pool is great and the outdoor hot tub can't be beat (the views are amazing). The breakfast was also really good. The room, I would say, wasn't anything... More
