This was our second visit to locanda dell'amorosa. We were traveling with our 5 year old daughter and my parents who are in their 70s. The property is lovely and quiet. But the staff is exceptional. They were professional, courteous, and warm. Aziza at the front desk was super-helpful. They were very accommodating with our daughter. I would stay there... More

If you close your eyes and dream of the most incredible trip to Tuscany, Locanda is the place. I cannot begin to explain the magic that happens in this villa, from the moment you step into the cobble stone center and then into your room that is truly the most incredible experience. The staff is beyond amazing. The food, the... More

Stayed here recently with Trek Travel. It was a fabulous location; just magical. The pool here is not to be missed. Dinner was fabulous; though don't expect American type 'fast service' to get you in and out as quickly as possible. ... as you shouldn't anywhere in Tuscany. The room was not as rustic an interesting as some of the... More

Maybe we hit the lottery but the room we had was unbelievable. Enormous with an enormous bed for 2. 2 Bathrooms and every amenity imaginable. Expensive, yes but that is what you are engaging here. Location is beautiful with lovely views. The hotel itself is stunning with stunning grounds. It's as large as a small village with its own church... More

The rooms are average with poor lighting. The beds are hard with inadequate pillows. Nice bathroom with a tub and separate shower, excellent towels. Quiet location except for the road noise. Large attractive buildings with lovely flowers and courtyard. The restaurant is average, in a stunning location. The grounds of this hotel are exceptional, and memorable .

The hotel is fabulous. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The grounds of the hotel are stunning. It's fancy but very relaxed and service is great. The team at reception was always willing to help with wine tours and restaurant reservations. The restaurant is good but nothing special. It's worth a visit for lunch if you are not... More

I'd just like to point out before I start my review that my review is based purely on the restaurant and not the actual hotel. The hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning. I have lived in Sinalunga for many years and Locanda dell'amorosa is well respected by both foreigners and locals. I was on holiday in Sinalunga with my family... More

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, our stay was perfect! Erica helped us arrange a visit to a nearby winery--Poggia Antico--fabulous! She and her colleagues also offered excellent advice on traveling to nearby hill towns, and the best routes to take, as well as the best restaurants and sights to visit. Dining was great! We... More

This place is so amazing. Our room was spectacular and the views are breathtaking! Everything you need is right here. The people who work here are extremely helpful and friendly. We were greeted by Jay and he helped us get settled and told us about the place. Stefan's booked us an amazing tour at a winery and even let us... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The location exudes an atmosphere of true serenity and sweetness and anyone exposed to it will be awestruck. Each room has its own character and design. Rustic furniture of peasant origins is mixed with antique furniture, prints and paintings. Some, that open directly to the outdoors give the sense of having a place of one’s own; others have a relaxing view of the typical Sienese countryside; yet others look out onto the complex’s quadrangle and face the lodgings the peasants at one time inhabited. ... more   less
