The villa itself is deceptive, outside it looks like an old stone house but once inside it truns into a beatifully designed and furnished oasis of calm. This is not a minimalist shrine but more a classy interior and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. Tiziana the manager is very efficient and welcoming, no request was too much trouble,... More

We stayed three days in this beautiful resort in June, a place where history and harmony go hand in hand. An old manor house converted in 1700 into a village and adjoining villa which now form the backdrop to a wonderful place. Beautiful pool, manicured gardens, flowers, everything is in order and cleanliness. The rooms are completely equipped with comfort... More

... it passed the wall, everything changes, another world really. A village really beautiful and full of charm, lots of green and lots of perfume ... a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and cypresses ... For each of the two times that we were guests we were allocated room 401: beautiful, spacious, furnished with taste and elegance, very... More

It does not give me any pleasure to write a bad review, but I feel I must warn other travellers of our experience. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and on a positive note would say that the location and layout of this old villa was lovely, but that's where it ends. The room 207 was large enough... More

My husband and I stayed at Villa Barberino for about a week. I have tried to wait a little to let the bitterness subside, but I have decided to write up an honest report because I do not want others to fall into the same situation on what should be a dream vacation for many. In summary, this was without... More

Our wedding agent gave up at the phase of ordering flowers, hair-dresser, wedding cake, menu, translator for the ceremony... Additionally we found out that even the official part is not agreed with the town hall. But Tiziana, the villa owner, and Claudia, the receptionist, made it all happen in just two weeks before the wedding! They even became our witnesses... More

It is one of the most romantic place I have ever been. The beautiful Boutique Hotel is sourouded with olive trees, and it has a real Tuscany atmosphere. The restaurant is highly recomended. Choose Superior Rooms, the standard room is a bit small, but the Superior are large, beautifully furnished and all has a wonderful vue.

We stayed here for 3 nights in February time and while the staff were friendly and helpful - they weren't so much when we decided to complain about our stay. Our complaint was mainly based around heating and the restaurant. This HOTEL, not Villa, came back with lies about our reservation. We arrived around 1.45pm to check-in (check-in opened at... More

Dear Guest, We are very sorry in knowing that you didn’t appreciated your stay here in Villa Barberino. We already replied to your complain, but we explain you all the points again. Our structure is a particular one. Villa Barberino is a sort of little hamlet and it is not the classic hotel. We have some rooms in the villa,... More

We stayed in the Villa for 5 nights. We took the 3 bedrooms apartment which was very comfortable, clean and fully equipped. The main problem was no air-conditioning and during the night it was a bit hot. The location is very convenient – 45 minutes from Florence and 45 minutes from Siena. We had a dinner in the Villa's restaurant... More
