Our wedding agent gave up at the phase of ordering flowers, hair-dresser, wedding cake, menu, translator for the ceremony... Additionally we found out that even the official part is not agreed with the town hall. But Tiziana, the villa owner, and Claudia, the receptionist, made it all happen in just two weeks before the wedding! They even became our witnesses... More

It is one of the most romantic place I have ever been. The beautiful Boutique Hotel is sourouded with olive trees, and it has a real Tuscany atmosphere. The restaurant is highly recomended. Choose Superior Rooms, the standard room is a bit small, but the Superior are large, beautifully furnished and all has a wonderful vue.

We stayed here for 3 nights in February time and while the staff were friendly and helpful - they weren't so much when we decided to complain about our stay. Our complaint was mainly based around heating and the restaurant. This HOTEL, not Villa, came back with lies about our reservation. We arrived around 1.45pm to check-in (check-in opened at... More

Dear Guest, We are very sorry in knowing that you didn’t appreciated your stay here in Villa Barberino. We already replied to your complain, but we explain you all the points again. Our structure is a particular one. Villa Barberino is a sort of little hamlet and it is not the classic hotel. We have some rooms in the villa,... More

We stayed in the Villa for 5 nights. We took the 3 bedrooms apartment which was very comfortable, clean and fully equipped. The main problem was no air-conditioning and during the night it was a bit hot. The location is very convenient – 45 minutes from Florence and 45 minutes from Siena. We had a dinner in the Villa's restaurant... More

Okay... First of all, there is no nuclear power plant. Italy opted out of nuclear power in the 70's. the power plant is gas powered and, yes, unattractive but a necessary part of life. We didn't drive through an industrial area to get there. There is a road that skirts around the power plant but its not mandatory. Our view... More

Out of the three weeks we were in Europe, this was by far the worst experience. I chose this place because of its location (close to the A1 and easy access to Florence/Chianti) and the amazing pictures. Also, it was rated as a "four star" hotel on booking.com. Here's what the pictures don't tell you: - Lovely nuclear power plant... More

We arrived at this Tuscan villa from the Florence airport after fumbling about with our GPS for over an hour. Entering the address given by the hotel to the GPS unit led us to a nearby town called Incisa, not Meleto. Once we finally arrived, we were met by a receptionist that did not speak English - only Italian and... More

The location is superb! Open your window in a sunny morning and you get the view from the whole valley! One does see the energy plant down the road, but not from the room, so, the beauty of the rest kind of obliterates the rest. The hotel itself is very nice, as I understood, an old farm house. It is... More

as you arrive in the local village one is charmed by what appears to be a not particularly new nuclear power station. on arrival, the office was closed and we were welcomed nicely by the chef who prepared a pleasant lunch. when the young lady from the office turned up we were shown to the apartment we had booked with...
