Super easy to find by car with it's own car park, the Relais Sant'Eligio takes a grand position just outside Ostuni with a commanding view out to the sea. The hotel was planned in grand style with lovely terraces and lounges to escape the heat and catch cooling breezes. While the hotel is looking a little tired and the advertised... More

I cannot quite agree with the last review with regard to the terraces. They do offer a wonderful view of Ostuni and had many pots filled with beautiful coloured petunias. We found the outdoor space quite charming. The lady on reception was very welcoming and spoke a smattering of English. We had an average sized room but it was spotlessly... More

Good location less than 10 minute walk to centre of old town with nice views from the bottom of the hill-topped town. There was a sense of neglect to the hotel including the terraces and outdoor space (e.g. rooftop was wasted space with no seating at all) and a general lack of effort to nicely maintain it. The hotel did... More

Dear Ms Thank you for thinking of us who had the review on trip of booking that, in fact, the wi-fi did not work everywhere, but we have also explained that had jumped the whole system and the technicians were four days to fix everything. The terrace of which you speak do not know can equip because it can only... More

A very good location for exploring Ostuni. It is the first hotel upon arriving in Ostuni from the E55 and leaving it at the Torre Pozzella exit. The road in is very attractive with fantastic old olive trees and at this time of the year, the spring flowers. The staff were very friendly and helpful (their English was sufficient to... More

Spent four nights here, using it as a base for exploring Puglia. Great location, private parking, five minute walk up the hill into the centre storico. Anna and Franca were friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and answers to our questions about local life. Room was basic but extremely clean. WiFi in lobby only.

Stayed at the hotel while attending an archaeological conference in the old city - just a short walk up the hill. The staff/owners were remarkably friendly and helpful. It is fair to say that they really went out of their way to be of assistance! Room was good and the view out over the olive groves to the sea was... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were bikiing through Puglia and they had a safe place to store the bikes. The room was adequate with breezes coming in through the windows with a distant view of the sea. It is an easy five minute walk into the town center for eating and shopping and enjoying the busy Italian life.... More

I was travelling by bicycle and as soon as I arrived a member of staff came out to show me where I could leave my bike safely overnight. In the morning I had to drag one of the staff from serving breakfast to enable me to check out.

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years and always enjoyed it. Its a place I will always be happy to go back too, as the staff are always helpful and friendly. If you like staying at large faceless chain hotels, then this is not the place for you. But if you want to stay with... More

we hadn't booked so moved around Ostuni area. felt we would like to settle so picked Relais. It was pretty empty and not cheap and run by 2 seemingly amateurs. They were very polite but running all on a shoestring including breakfast. Best part bed although a bit short, small room and bathroom kept bumping myself with only shower. Window... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
... more   less
