The grounds of this hotel are amazing, like paradise! The pool is also fab. Breakfast was nice, but expected it to be better. Very handy location with a private walkway to the beach. The room was very smelly, which was expected as it is on Vulcano. However, it was a very weird smell, which we could not get anywhere else... More

Dear orange63, we are glad you enjoyed our Resort. The tipic smells of the island depend on the current: the volcano is behind our facility and sometimes comes the smell of sulfur, often confused with other smells. Considering the heat of July, maybe the air conditioning was weak for you, used to living in cold places. Despite this, we hope... More

We stayed for one night at the end of the peak season. The grounds and the pool are absolutely wonderful and the dinner was very nice. The breakfast was basic, but it was off peak so that was ok. Try to request a non adjoining room as there is only one door, not the usual two doors.

My wife and I spent a week in this hotel from 13th September 2014. I was a little concerned at the comments of some previous clients, especially some from 2013. But I must say that none of them, the critical ones, appeared to be our experience. The room was very adequate and spacious with a patio overlooking a part of... More

We were pleased with the acommodation and willingness of the staff. Rooms were clean, with towels being changed everyday and equiped with ac, safe deposit according to hotel description. We had full board, meals were tasty with plenty of vegetables to choose from, however the main dishes were quite similar everyday. Good thing if you are a sea food lover... More

I recently spent 4 nights with my family and friends and we had a very pleasant stay. the newly renovated rooms are very functional, clean, minimalist and although the bed is not the most comfortable, overall a comfortable room with a nice porch. The staff ( especially Nella and Valentina) are wonderful and very helpful. the transfers to the port... More

I stayed in this hotel for a week as part of a Swimtrek group. My room was very comfortable and clean, with a pleasant porch on which to sit, and to dry clothes. The swimming pool and rooms are in an attractive garden setting with the dining area overlooking the black sand beach and bay. I had breakfast and dinner... More

I was on Vulcano in early October, with my family of three generations. We had selected the Mari del Sud Resort, and were very happy with the choice on arrival. Being a bit out of season, we were almost the only guests and were given adjoining rooms all the way down by the water front. Absolutely wonderful! We were next... More

When you arrive by ferry, the shuttle can picks you up in a nice clean van. (The hotel is about a fifteen minute walk from the town.) Check in was smooth. You can tell they're a new resort because there's a lot of work still being done there. The rooms are small but clean and modern. We were going to... More

There is no better way to spend a relaxing weekend with 10 girl friends. The hotel was very comfortable, beautifully decorated in Eolian style with local tiles and accessories and very well situated. Only a few step to the pool and the sea, 10 minutes on foot to the village of Vulcano and the bottom of the track which takes... More
