I was just there 5 days ago. My friend and I went to Paros Island Sept 29-Oct 6. We took the ferry from Athens and had no hotel reservations and I am happy we didn't. Dimos of the Argo Hotel will be at the ferry and will tell you he has rooms right on the beach and a balcony to... More

We arrived by ferry and had not booked any accomodation, we left our luggage at the port and wandered along the sea front looking at rooms in various hotels. We picked Argo because the room was large and airy and best of all, had a balcony directly overlooking the sea, it was bliss to hear the sea washing over the... More

We arrived by ferry and were taken to the hotel by a member of staff, which was a nice bonus. We stayed in a sea view room on first floor. The room was a good size and ample room for 2. The view was good but a consequence of having a view to the sea is also the loud motorbikes... More

A simple hotel. €40 for the night. Scary shower set up. A jacuzzi shower that barely wet my balding head. Nice owners (& kids). I think I woke one of their children when going for a swim one evening. Ok for accommodation just off the boat.

Really this place took me back in time like Martin in the action movie,I booked over the internet, and liked the photos on there site, thought when we arrived it was a different story!I arrived on August 2014 and when I entered the lobby and especially the room it took me back to the 70's!!the first thing you see it's the toilet... The accommodation was poor, the bathroom was extremely dirty, the sheets were also dirty and the staff was not keen to help. Maybe the worst hotel I have ever been a waste of money. The prize of a double room was 65 € and we were extremely disappointed. It is better to stay at the camping, probably there the bathroom... More

We stayed 4 nights at the the Argo 7/27-7/30/14, it is a small family run hotel in a very convenient location. Our ferry was supposed to arrive at 11:30 pm but was delayed and did not arrive until 1:30 but even with the delay, one of the owners was there at the port to pick us up with a van... More

Pro- Location Location Location!! After Santorini and city life we wanted to enjoy the sunsets and closeness to a beach. This was a great location for us, a family of 3. Close to the port; beach across the street, walking distance to town as well as good restaurants and the supermarket. The room has a fridge so you can keep... More

We were in room 106. Rather shabby bathroom, shower was a complicated aqua centre that was hard to use. Breakfast room was very shabby and cramped, mediocre food, but the brown bread was delicious. Staff were conspicuous by their absence and not terribly helpful when we did see them. We were only here 1 night.

While the hotel is well located and offers a nice ocean view with their balcony...the description and pictures of hotel do not represent reality..the hotel is outdated, badly renovated, not clean, section of beach managed by hotel was the only section of the cosat which was very dirty. We were told they did not have time to clean it. No... More
