From the moment we arrived we fell in love with Hotel Haus Lipmann and the scenic town of Beilstein. The hotel is situated right on the river with a large terrace out the front covered in grape vine and flowering plants which encapsulates the pretty view over the Moselle . A perfect way to spend a long summer evening or lunch... More

A stay at the Hotel Haus Lipmann is a must in the wine country of Germany! Beilstein is a perfect location to enjoy the region and much less busy than nearby Cochem. You are greeted warmly upon your arrival and feel right at home. We had Room #4 which provided a beautiful view of the Mosel River from our large... More

Right by the Mosel River. Very nice and spacious room with view and balcony facing the river. Restaurant with terrasse and wine plants all over. Breakfast is plenty and very good. We sat on the terrasse every morning and watched the Riverboats and prams sail slowly by, while we enjoyed our breakfast. Family owned and vey nice staff and management.... More

Spectacular gem of a hotel. The owners and staff are extra-ordinary professionals and truly regard the term "guest" with the utmost respect and cordiality. The service is outstanding; food delicious, bountiful and fresh; rooms beautiful; hotel exceptionally clean and the setting is right from a storybook. Our family from New York, USA had a lovely, memorable stay and would highly... More

We had a lunch stop here as a group and enjoyed the meal as well as its river view from the balcony of the restaurant. The meal was good, and the service great, even the owner's school age boy came to help - must be his summer vacation job.

Located in the tiny "Sleeping Beauty" village of Beilstein (pop. less than 200!), this small hotel is not for everyone. But if you're looking for a place to truly unwind, this is it. Breakfast is included. Ask for room 4 – the only room with a terrace overlooking the Mosel River. Consider dining at the hotel’s really good restaurant most... More

The best hotel of our 2.5 weeks in Europe, including two 5-star hotels in Paris. Beautiful location in historic village, picturesque and cool, castle ruins above town, ferry to cross Mosel and boat dock for transportation to other towns. Service totally friendly and helpful, made a huge difference in our enjoyment of our stay. Amazing food both for breakfast (best... More

We travel here as a family every year and stay in the Barouque building a few steps away from the main building (dating from 1800th Century). The rooms and the hotel are wonderful- a mix of really nice older furniture and modern facilities and comfortable beds. The combination makes you really feel at home. All the rooms look different (not... More

Have just spent two nights here, and will definitely be returning, hopefully with friends who we are sure will love this place as much as we did. Our room, which did not have a view of the river, but overlooked the small square, was spacious and beautifully furnished. Bed was ultra comfortable, there was a small separate sitting area, and... We stayed in the annex on the top floor in the triple room for two nights. Room was amazing. Very large and bathroom was very modern. Also had view of river. Staff was very nice. David met us at door and showed us our room and even carried my luggage up many steps to our room. Breakfast was great. Also... More
