Been here many times. Old beautiful house with different kind of rooms. Includes nice sauna area (nude) and big outside pool. Especially nice in summers with nice terrace. Kitchen is also good. Situated a bit in the forrest but very quiet and relaxing.

The Marriott at Gelsenkirschen was full so we were booked into the Loemuhle on business. It's a strange place with faded decor, tired but clean rooms, and soft beds. After our arrival late in the evening we asked for a place to sit and have a drink and were escorted to the terrace outside. Thirty minutes later a movie was shown on a... More

Arrived mid afternoon, staff welcoming, beer on the terrace with tasty cake set the tone. Bedroom spacious and spotless, recently refurbished beds very comfortable. The set menu was perfect and saved much trawling through the dictionary! Staff attentive and helpful. The steak was ravishing, cut through like butter, wonderful.

We stayed, for 2 days, as a family group. We had a number of rooms. A superior double, a suite, and a standard single. The hotel is a beautiful traditional old coaching hotel, in a country location, yet only minutes from town facilities. Arriving late at night, the entrance was difficult to find from the car park,we went to, what... More
