I regularly stay in Herford on business and would definitely recommend the Hansa hotel. It is centrally located and restaurants, shops etc are available as soon as you step outside the hotel. We stayed for only one night owing to an unexpected problem at home, but we found that this was a very pleasant hotel, very friendly (with excellent English) and very understanding. Nice breakfast room and balcony. Not the easiest to find, but well worth it. more
