We stayed here for one night traveling through Germany. The hotel is located on the main street through Hallenberg. It was very easy to stay here as almost all the staff spoke English. Our room was in the "old" section but was still great other than a little peeling paint. The room was twice as large as other hotel rooms with a king size bed, sitting area with TV, and desk. We had free high speed internet access from the room with a code from the front desk. we had an excellent dinner in the bar as the dining room was full. There was a huge breakfast buffet in the morning with eggs, fruit, cereal.

The only negative comment I have is that the kitchen exhaust fan vented through a closet-sized room adjacent to our bathroom. The fan was on from about 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and we did notice some noise.
