Half board deal is great. Food is excellent! Also breakfast. Rooms are nice. Take second floor and up. Very nice public spaces, Great services, helpful advises in the reception about the area. If you around it is a place to be.

One night stay during the off-season meant we (two) were isolated guests (very few on board). Two of the three floors were secured for the period. All of which meant a quiet evening in pleasant surroundings with NO noise or interruptions. Modern rooms and pleasant though not abundant staff. The adjacent village offers a number of attractive restaurants. See review... More

Stunning drive through the Pyrenees mountains to this delightful Hotel. We wanted to stay in a typical Parador. The Arties was this and more. The village would be picture postcard in winter. We had an interesting walk around the town amongst the houses and hotels which were built in traditional alpine style. Our room over looked the village and surrounding... More

This Parador is obviously at its best during ski season. We visited in September as part of a touring holiday and the hotel was very quiet and dull. The pool was not heated and therefore unusable, and the Brasserie closed in the evening. rooms were comfortable but no air conditioning is a problem. The village and surrounding district is quite... As with all Paradors this hotel was excellent. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. We had dinner in the hotel both nights and were well pleased. The downside was that it is in a skiing area and in August there was not much going on in Arties. However the drives over the hills were sensational with great views and many many... More

My second visit to the Val D'Aran, and this Parador is in my opinion more convenient than the one at Vielha. The staff are friendly and could not do more for you, the restaurant good and all the extras, pool, bar, outings were first class. You are on the edge of an attractive village and the mountain walks, although curtailed... More

This hotel is stuck in a 1970 time warp, with dark dingy decoration and furnishings.the rooms are very dark and small with uncomfortable beds, and no air conditioning. The pool area is not at all appealing and need to be cleaned.at best the food was not good. This hotel is all that is wrong with Spanish paradors

We stayed here for one night during a tour of the Val d'Aran area. This Parador is in the centre if the small village of Arties set in stunning mountain scenery. The Parador is furnished to the usual high standard with a particular Pyrenean flair. We stayed in standard room which was not over large but was furnished well with... More

Modern Parador in concrete and pine but lovely rooms with bunk style accommodation. Interesting L shaped indoor outdoor pool so you can swim all the year round. Good food and wine list if restaurant a bit drab, the kids' menu was better than the grown ups'! Lovely mountain village nearby to walk around.
