We are staying here at the moment for two nights with my two young boys and husband. We received a warm and friendly welcome by the hotel owner who is a very helpful lady. and were given a clean, spacious room. The hotel is very family friendly, and welcomes children and has some toys for them to play with. We... More

Last year I already left a positive review about this hotel but this time was a special occasion of my stay there. Having got during my trip to France a very sad piece of news that my father passed away and having ahead of me a long road back home I contacted this hotel in Bayern in order to change... More

We found this hotel by accident. We saw it from the road and thought it looked good. It is fabulous. It is run by a hospitable and warm young couple who in a lovely relaxed manner make you feel so welcome and at home. We stayed two nights. Great location for exploring. We went to Salzburg, Berchtesgaden, Ramsau. It was... More

Whenever we come back after the holidays at sea in Croatia or Italy, we are doing a small tour through Italy, Austria and Bayern. At first we chose this hotel quite by accident, it was on our way home. But this year we have planned our route in a way we could stay exactly in this hotel! A quiet place,... More

We have stayed overnight in this hotel several times over the years, but the last couple of times we stayed 2 nights. We found that it was centrally located and good to do day trips to Kehlsteinhaus (Hitler's Eagle's Nest), the Chiemsee, Traunstein and Salzburg. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is... More

Absolute beauty and comfort in historic setting. An hotel since 1304. Private balcony. Wrought iron fittings by Austrian artisan. Modern diningroom in keeping with historic buildings provides delicious buffet breakfasts and evening meals which are very popular with locals too. Gluten free meals available and Chef checks specific requests.

This is a great find. We did half board and stayed here for 7 days. The room was very large with a modern bathroom, with heated floors. The flat screen TV had several English speaking channels. The breakfasts could have not been better, a large assortment for breads, meats, cereals and yes even scrambled eggs. Dinner was even better, with... More
