Stayed here for 6 nights. Hotel is not in the city part of Munich but east of the main metropolitan area. It is connected by a direct train S2 to the city centre. Great hotel with local feeling found in Bavaria. Resturant is excellent. Staff particularly friendly. Stayed in 2000 and 2002. Look forqard to staying again in 2004. more

What a great place. Front desk people particularly friendly and helpful -- and helped us find an accomodation on the one day of our stay where the Bauer did not have room. Great food and good service in restaurant. Will visit again! more

While attending a show at the nearby exposition center I luckily found Hotel Bauer! It was close, clean, reasonable and the restaurant was very nice. I especially loved the rose-scented bath gel - very soothing after long days of walking around the convention hall! more
