Fresh bread every morning, fantastic conversations with folks from all over the world every evening, easy walk into one of the most inviting and pretty towns in Provence (Lourmarin) and only an hour from Arles, Avignon, Cassis and Marseille. A bit longer to Nice, Cannes and Antibes. Elizabeth and Joseph are wonderful hosts. Beautiful rooms with fantastic views all round.... More

Well...I have to sigh as I begin this review because I feel torn. The village, Lourmarin, is charming and the residence had a unique petite terrace that bathed in the sunshine for much of the day and into the evening. This is a huge plus because there are few places to stay, in fact almost nil where you can sit... More

Thank you for all the kind words you said about our Petite Maison. We are very sorry your sleep was disturbed by the bells (not actually church bells but those from the village bell-tower). We would just like to point out that they are very close to one of our apartments in the village, but nowhere near Les Olivettes. More

We were a family of four (kids ages 9 and 2) and we stayed here for 4 days mid July 2015. The location is excellent and walking distance to Lourmarin center. The village is beautiful and classic Provencial. The accommodation was very comfortable and had a lovely ambiance to relax in the evening with a rose or pastis. We stayed... More

You will certainly enjoy your stay at L.O. Great location within walking distance (and nice view of) of Lourmarin, lush gardens and large airy rooms. The common room is particularly cosy. The whole place, from decoration to landscaping, would best be described as "homey" rather than "luxurious". Decoration is generally a country theme even with a whiff of knick-knack. Landscaping... We stayed in Le Loft of Les Olivettes for a week in August and it was a wonderful visit! The people of Lourmarin are very friendly and this quaint village has more restaurants than you can visit in a week.Dinner, lunch, breakfast, you name it! The food is wonderful and the local wines that are available are unmatched. The apartment... More

Lourmarin truly is a hidden gem, at least I think so. We were looking for a home base for our visits to Gordes, Roussillon, Lavender fields, and this place did not disappoint. For an apartment it was good for our family. We took our 15 month old daughter. We had the apartment closest to the kitchen (Le Zidaine) I believe.... More

My wife and I stayed with at Les Olivettes and the Deliso's for a week and we just loved our stay in every respect.. Everything was as we had hoped for and more. They are incredible hosts who provided us just the right amount of information to help us experience the town and the south of France. The accommodations were... More

We loved our week at Les Olivettes. Everything is lovingly attended to. The bakery breakfasts were generous and appreciated. The gentle walk into Lourmarin was the highlight of each day. The weather was terribly hot so sleeping was difficult as our suite was not air conditioned. The thoughtful owners bought in numerous electric fans to improve our comfort (successfully). Completely... More

Lourmarin is a pretty village and this place is an easy walk (even at the height of summer) to it in a very nice location. Mostly there are things to like about the place - especially the large pool where we spent a lot of time. There is some truth to the less charitable reviews of this place - it... More

This is a great base for exploring the Luberon area. Yes, it is a bit "older" and could benefit with new beds but other than that, you can't complain about the charm and hospitality this family has provided in this lovely home. The apartments vary in price and even the less expensive one was charming with it's rooftop terrace!
