This castle is charming from outside and it's property is beautiful. There is a downhill park and a tennis court down the hill that is free but you have to walk on the grass to access it so if it is rainy you arrive to the tennis court with your tennis shoes wet and/or full of mud, the table tennis'... Room was not what I expected, second floor, room 301. Clean but no value for money. Poor service in the bar, waited for almost an hour (we're in France, so nothing exceptionnal), finally went up to the reception. At 8 euros for a glass of wine, one would expect more eagerness to serve. Not what it's bragged up to be.

Dear Madam, dear Sir, We are sorry to read you were slightly dispappointed by your experience at Chateau de la Tour. We have several room categories in our hotel, the room you booked is the standard one which is nice with a forest view but neither the biggest one nor one with a park view. Please don't hesitate to tell... More

We picked this hotel from bookings.com due to its closeness to CDG while also allowing a cultural visit to the Chateau De Chantilly. The reception and check in was very friendly and efficient. The assigned room was spacious and clean, easy accessible on the ground floor. We made a dinner reservation, enjoyed the dining room decor, the menu variety, and... More

I've spent three days and two nights in paradise - that's certainly how it felt. The setting of the Chateau was lovely and peaceful. Everything there was impeccably well done - perfect 'country elegance'. The rooms were immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, the lawn and grounds perfectly manicured. The in-house, Michelin star restaurant serves exquisite meals at a reasonable rate... More

The hotel and grounds were lovely and our room had been upgraded because we had requested the ground floor. I had read reviews with complaints about guests carrying their own luggage and with a slightly twisted ankle felt entitled to say that I had a mobility problem. The first words out of the desk clerk's mouth were to offer to... More

Bit more expensive than I would normally go for but well worth it! Lovely grounds and locality. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We had a family room which was MASSIVE and very comfy, huge bathroom and great big bed. The other bed was a double sofa bed but it was ok for my son. Nice clean pool. We... More

We booked largely due to the beautiful photographs of the building and it's grounds, and they are very nice indeed. However the hotel itself is seriously lacking. The welcome isn't warm and overall the hotel feels like you have got lost walking around a hotel thats closed for the night (even at 6pm). the restaurant menu was uninspired, and although... More

Chateau de la Tour is located just outside Chantilly in its own park. The place is well kept and has a friendly atmosphere. The reception area is new and modern, the bar has a chique and classic feel to it, although the fact that a large TV screen is on day and night does not do the atmosphere any good.... More

Upon arrival we were told that the dining room was closed that evening for a wedding. No problem, the staff was helpful about suggesting alternatives. What they did not tell us was that a disco inferno would be rattling the walls of our room, complete with screaming DJ, until sometime after 3:00 am. When we complained, we were told that... More
