Chateau de la Tour is located just outside Chantilly in its own park. The place is well kept and has a friendly atmosphere. The reception area is new and modern, the bar has a chique and classic feel to it, although the fact that a large TV screen is on day and night does not do the atmosphere any good.... More

Upon arrival we were told that the dining room was closed that evening for a wedding. No problem, the staff was helpful about suggesting alternatives. What they did not tell us was that a disco inferno would be rattling the walls of our room, complete with screaming DJ, until sometime after 3:00 am. When we complained, we were told that... More

Make sure you have a rental car or getting around will be difficult and expensive (if using taxis). This was a group holiday with another 2 families - the hotel was chosen as you could drive to Paris in an hour but still experience the Chantilly rural setting. The overall stay was generally ok but found the customer service wanting... More

On arrival we were disappointed, as the foyer and rooms are very like a youth hostel. Apparently the hotel is being revamped, and the foyer area is to be next. The surroundings are lovely, the pool nice, and the staff all extremely helpful and charming. We ended our evening with a delicious meal on the terrace, with excellent service -... More

We stayed here on a Saturday night, before leaving France for home. A few days before we arrived, we got a note saying that there would be a wedding that night, and as a consequence the restaurant would not be open. That seemed reasonable. What they didn't tell us was that there would be a hotel-shattering disco shaking the grounds... More

Dont expect exceptional luxury , but this hotel is superb for small groups and conventions. nicely located 30 min from the airport charles de gaulle. Just outside Chantilly, in horse country. The staff is courteous and welcoming. The rooms are impeccable , not super spacious, but all it needs. They have a cozy bar and excellent restaurant! For smaller groups... More

This charming hotel is really an excellent restaurant with rooms. Its out of the way location guarantees peace and quiet remarkably close to CDG. The staff is hospitable and courteous. It's always a pleasure to stay here and I look forward to returning.

We stopped here as it looked a good place to stop on the drive back from Cognac to Calais. It's set in really nice grounds on the outskirts of Gouvieux. Unfortunately, there are lots of roads about that our TomTom satnav thought were driveable, but were just footpaths - so great for a Sunday morning stroll down to the thriving... More

The Chateau is simply beautiful! Great location just minutes from Chantilly. Service a bit impersonal but very efficient. Breakfast not huge (i.e. No fried eggs and bacon) but of excellent quality and freshness. The only minor disappointment is the size of rooms. We booked a (as it called) superior forest view twin room which was just fair. Small and basic,... More
