Went for work and stayed for two nights. Hotel is romantic and very rural. Breakfast was ok with many different jams. Got a good night sleep. Downside was my room run out of hot water they sent someone, not sure it hot fixed. Overall it was a nice stay.

We stayed in la lumiere room. Very spacious. Comfortable. Jacuzzi bath and power shower spacious bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities. Free car park. We asked for nibbles instead of a meal - no problem and delicious. Can't comment on the area as only passing through from Dover to Calais ferry but would definitely come again

This is a hard one to call. The hotel was packed and happening. We enjoyed our stay but I felt like the whole place needed a Virgo walkthrough. The young man who hauled our bags, later served us dinner and then mopped the floor - so you can see they are trying. There just needs to be some paint and... More

A very handly location/overnight stopover (near Dunkirk) for anyone coming from Calais & going north into Belgium or Holland or Germany. Easy to find & access & only just off the motorway. Our room was large & comfortable, although there were a few mindor problems such as the window in the WC not fitting & letting in a cold darught... More

If there had been a choice between Average and Very good I would have selected that. The public rooms, Entrance, Restaurant and breakfast room are very smart but our suite although at first glance very large and nicely furnished was in need of some attention. The spa bath only had 4 of the 6 vents working and the shower was... More

We had booked the "Sixties room" expecting that this would have been decorated in the sixties style but the furniture looked like it may have been there since the sixties. The chairs were falling apart at the joints, the patio door had a makshift hook to keep it closed and there were more chips in the toilet seat than could... More

We have stayed at this Hotel several times on our way to Germany, with some very fussy friends/business collegues they love it as much as us.The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have everything you need, the food and service ie excellent .Of course I did not take my magnifing glass to pick up all the little scratches and cracks. We booked a room for one night at this hotel as part of a touring holiday of France & Belgium. The hotel was easy to find and had adequate parking. The room was very big and had two small balconies overlooking the garden. The bathroom was luxurious but like other reviewers, the toilet seat was chipped in several places and... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel Meunerie. Having read the two previous entries one good one bad we went with some trepidation. However we need not have worried, the hotel was superb and in a quiet country area with plenty car parking spaces. We had a very large bright room furnished in the Louis Quinze style, a... More

Stayed just one night, as a stopover from Belgium to Dunkerque ferry. Although the room was large, bed comfortable, and the large bathroom very grand complete with jacuzzi, the room was let down by chipped toilet seat and uncleaned and untidy and chipped patio area. We did not try the restaurant - the fixed price menus seemed overpriced and included... More
