The high quality of the food and service at dinner and breakfast just didn't make up for the poor accomodation. Our pokey room with paper thin walls overlooking the car park had a bathroom seldom found these days - a shower that didn't work, plaster peeling off the wall, cracked basin with no plug. The rooms are accessed via a... More

..recently refurbed, I guess, our room was reasonably spacious, neat and comfy and made a perfectly fine overnight stop. Our welcome was friendly and efficient. As is often the case with hotels like this in the "Logis de France" group, the restaurant was superb - lovely presentation, inventive dishes and reasonable pricing with a variety of fixed price menus from... Yes, this may not be the most fashionable hotel in the world, but the staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious and very good value for money. bad things: paper thin walls, no sound proofing at all, dated decor, 60 euros/night price tag... good things: maybe location in the centre of the village full of cute half-timbered houses? to be very honest it's hard to justify the reason to come back here...

We were late seeking out a lunch venue. We arrived here after the usual lunch period and rather than simply turning us away, the lady proprietor kindly organised an "assiette de hors d'oeuvre" of cold meat/pate and salad with bread for us for 6.30 euros each.A bargain and very kind.A nice dining room too.
