Very sophisticated hotel with delightful aspect overlooking their own vineyard. Very nicely designed rooms with a modern twist. We stayed in the honeymoon room replete with round bed (actually very comfortable). It had a lovely sized deck. The only drawback with the hotel is the a/c. That said I'm slightly neurotic about having a very cold room and the days... More

Great hotel. Very beautiful property. Service was very good too. The SPA area worths a visit even for those that are not hosted at the hotel. They have a great bar and restaurant in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for couples.

We managed to get an upgrade to a superior room for a good price. On arrival it was clear as to why. They had huge renovations going on in the beauty and health suite area. Appreciate its unavoidable but stay was definitely less relaxing because of it. Domaine de Verchant is a beautiful, beautiful hotel that is a short ride... More

I loved this place. Superb pool, great pool side restaurant, lovely staff and fabulous rooms. The food was hit and miss. We had a lovely sea bass for lunch. Chips could be better but on balance was ok. Staff were simply lovely.

The surface details are lovely but the service leaves much to be desired. Staff was not welcoming, housekeeping was awful and the food was fair. For a relais chateau property they are not up to snuff. We went to sit on the only chaises by one of the pools and they were filthy, covered with bird poop. It took almost... More

I came to this hotel to beat the heat wave, and felt like I struck gold. I was given a complimentary upgrade to an amazing suite with a roof-top sitting area with Jacuzzi and shaded lounge area (more like a bed), and spent a blissful afternoon alternately soaking, reading and snoozing. The room was gorgeous and well-appointed, with excellent air-conditioning... More

Nestled in a beautiful parkland 25 mins from Montpellier this wonderful property is the ultimate luxury retreat. Great design attention to detail throughout makes staying there sheer pleasure. Extremely spacious rooms with every comfort in a rustic luxy style. Gourmet food in the restaurants and a good wine selection. Lovely pool areas for relaxing the afternoon away. You will never... We stayed over at this hotel for one night on our way down to the Côte d'Azur from the Dordogne. The first impression was that it was thankfully nowhere near Montpellier city centre, which is quite an industrial place, while being a very short drive away. It's location and large grounds made it feel very rural, which was great. The... More

We stayed here for four nights. The setting is spectacular and the food and wine were superb. As well as the "gastronomic" restaurant, the "beach" restaurant (by the pool/vineyard) was fantastic and reminiscent of Ibiza (but with better food!) In general the service was excellent. The spa was also really relaxing. The room was large with a lovely terrace and... More

Our first night in France after a long journey of planes, trains and automobiles!! What a transformation to this wonderful setting in the vineyards and blooming trees and birds singing!!! First off the arrival with my sister in law who is handicapped, the staff was really helpful to get her to the room on the ground floor with a wonderful... More
