There are people who were born to host. There are those who have grown up to, and those who will never turn into it. Small gestures, indifference etc.. Let's not be mistaken, apart all the above, the place is just great. Only it's like visiting a friend finding out that his wife makes it impossible to get there again.

Near the center of town. Very comfortable room but all the said "comfort " room located in the same building near the road are very noisy. I needed to use my earplugs which is bit paradoxical since we are supposed to be in a small town in the countryside ! TV, mini bar, hair dryer. Wifi, for a change, working... More

Had booked 4 nights - stayed one! Lady on reception abrupt, rude, unhelpful from word go. Could not be bothered even to show us to our room, was as if she was doing us a massive favour by her just being there. She had a small child sitting at reception eating biscuits, and general making a mess. Room so small... More

We stayed there for only one night, and liked the hotel very much. Nice renovated room with a lot of space, quiet (we closed the shutters), very clean, friendly. Breakfast (considering French standards) was excellent and not too expensive, with high quality Darjeeling tea. Very nice garden - next time we will stay and have dinner there, the restaurant seems... More

Stayed here for 1 night in July. Rather brusque attitude at reception, far from welcoming. Room was small, but had a really nice modern bathroom. It was a very hot day and night and although there was a fan provided in the bedroom it was extremely hot and difficult to sleep. Fridge was out of order so no cold drinks... More

Overall good first impression on arrival but found room too dark and dust laden in parts. The fridge was 'out of order' and there was no wardrobe. Restaurant pleasant but response to an undercooked chicken dish was dismissive and unapologetic. Otherwise food pretty good.

This restaurant is in a charming villa with views over the garden, and conveniently almost opposite the Pasteur museum. Service was pleasant and impeccable but I wasn't quite as impressed with the meal as last time: we had the menu du marche but the main course had run out and we were offered an alternative in which the meat was... We have eaten here before and would rate the restaurant excellent, but this was our first stay in the hotel section. We had the distinct impression that this is run on a shoestring. The restaurant sommelier was in charge and I think it was his wife serving breakfast and also cleaning the rooms. The reception desk appears to have very... More

We had a 4-course set dinner for 39.50 and a 5-course set dinner for 49 euros, both with a choice of starters and main courses. The food was amazing, real fine-dining with canapés, amuse-bouches and "trou normand" (palate cleanser, pear ice-cream in plum liqueur). They had an extensiive selection of wine by the glass and the sommelier was very nowledgeable,... More
