We stayed at Le Chevreuil for only one night on a walking trip through Burgundy and it was an excellent experience. We were greeted in a friendly way on arrival and advised to book a table for dinner. Our room wasn't very large but it was clean and light with a small, good bathroom. Although we forgot to book for... More

This was just a one night stopover for us on our way back to the UK from the south of France. It is a lovely looking building right bang smack in the centre of the village. We had a triple room which was huge! There was a double bed in the main room, large flat screen TV on the wall,... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a tour of the region. Friendly greeting on arrival by an older lady who checked us in [she also took care of breakfasts]. The rooms seem fairly newly decorated and all in good order though room that we were in was very small - just enough space to navigate around the bed. Soundproofing... More

We stopped off for one night en route to the south. Lovely hotel - great family room. Very friendly staff and the meal in the evening was excellent and a great start to the holiday. It was a warm evening and we were able to sit out an eat in the private garden at the back. Be warned this is... More

We stayed 2 nights. Our rooms (no. 5 and 6) were quiet, rather small, but then we did not spend much time there. The room rate is fair, and Meursault is a good location to explore the region, it is a charming small town with good restaurants. We had dinner at Le Chevreuil the first evening, a very nice experience,... More

We were travelling as a group of 5 girls an booked a 3-bed and a twin. The rooms were great and clean but they did both have a double bed so we did have to share. This is not too much of an issue for us but it was a bit misleading. The location was awesome everything within walking distance.

Outstanding food and wine. Friendly, welcoming staff. You must meet Craquotte, the 7 month old French Bulldog who snuck into the dining room for a cuddle. Thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend.

This is one of these hotels that gives you a basic room with ok beds and then spoils with some very good food at night. The tasting menu and the extensive wine list are well priced with some gems. On the way to the south this a great stopover place.

Just a few months later and it's even better. While the excellent dinning room continues to be as excellent as ever and remains well supported by the wine list that fits the location the rooms are greatly improved. The friendly, efficient and correct team remain and dogs are welcome. Secure and plentiful undercover parking, the closeness of the autoroute and... More
