We were on a gastronomic walking holiday and had just arrived at the Hotel when I discovered I had lost my gold Longines watch on the trail. Olivier kindly took drove us to a point where a road intersected the trail and joined us in a search of the area where we had stopped for lunch - to no avail.... More

We ended a bike trip at the Chateau last week. The tour company, DIGnGO, arranged the accommodations and they chose well! The village was wonderful, the rooms large and clean, and the staff very attentive. We arrived on a very hot July afternoon and eery effort was made to cool the room down. Dinner was a minute walk away at... More

I can't say enough nice things about this hotel.... We arrived from Paris - and (strangely) nobody was on the front desk. We waited and waited ... But all was quiet. Eventually, Olivier, the host arrived - he had been serving lunch. He was apologetic and upgraded us to a suite. My word, what a suite! It had its own... More

Our stay at Chateau Hotel Andre Ziltener went beyond our expectations. Upon driving up to the Chateau we were immediately charmed by the setting. The Chateau itself was exactly as we imagined it and the grounds were beautiful with big, mature trees and an ancient church as the backdrop for the parking lot. Our hosts Sophie and Olivier came out... More

This hotel is off the beaten track in the lovely (but very quiet) village of Chambolle Musigny, but is still right in the heart of Burgundy wine country. We stayed for one night on a stop over returning from the South of France. Our room was on the top floor and was spacious but the dormer windows were too high... More

This lovely hotel is located in a quaint village in Burgundy, on the Grand Cru route. The accommodations are top notch. We had 2 rooms, one a suite that had a terrace large enough to throw a party for 25 people! It also looked out over the ancient rock outcroppings that surround the town, as well as the lovely grounds... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night in August 2014. We thought the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and large with nice furnishings. The hamlet/little town it is located is as authentic rural France as it gets-its beautiful. There is no restaurant at the hotel but the hotel manager pointed us in the... More

I would completely agree with all the recent reviews in terms of location, comfort and the free wine tasting. We really enjoyed our stay here and although one of the two restaurants in the village was closed, staff recommended 2 other restaurants within walking distance which were really good. There are also free bikes provided which is a great way... More

Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location and with extremely nice, helping and discrete staff. Family friendly: We stayed there as a couple with our three children (10, 8, 8). No fuss. Hotel recommended family friendly restaurant in Vosne-Romanee that turned into a big success, both in terms of food quality and ability to cater for a family with kids.

Rooms were spectacular, large well furnished and very comfortable. Wine tasting was included in the price we paid for the rooms. The garden is absolutely fantastic. We were of the impression that there was a restaurant at the chateau when making the reservation. This was apparently a misunderstanding, but the staff helped us with reservations at two restaurants within walking... More
