My wife and I, when driving back to England have for the last five years , have stopped over at Auberge to Klasse and have always found the hospitality, serenity, service and breakfast second to none .

This was our second stay at Auberge De Klasse. We stayed on our way to Dunkirk last summer for one night and decided there and then that we would come back this year and stay a bit longer. We stayed three nights in the room 'Angele', which is slightly bigger than the other two and has a view over the... More

Great location. Charming & small, decorated with exquisite taste this lovely auberge is a credit to its owner Albert. We arrived mid-day & there was no one to answer the door so we found the central square & had lunch prior to calling back at the auberge. Albert admitted us an hour early at 3PM & then sat with us... What can one add to the glowing reviews of Auberge De Klasse? Everything you read here is true, from the beautifully decorated rooms, to the peaceful garden, the exceptionally wonderful breakfasts, and the host whose genteel demeanor and professional service makes you feel you are staying in a much grander establishment. We spent a lovely two nights here and I... More

We booked based on trip advisor ratings as we wanted to do a little more than the standard hop accross the chanel to buy cheap booze. Firstly, if you want to make a mini-break out of a booze cruise then Veurne is a great place to stop with a really nice historic square and selection of bars and restaurants, it's... More

After a later crossing to Dunkirk arriving at 21.00 we we concerned that there would be a cool welcome due to our late arrival at this little B&B. Nothing could be further from reality when we did eventually arrive and received a very warm welcome. With only 3 rooms this is much smaller than we would normally chose but it... More

When one has had a magical experience (a fabulous meal at a restaurant, a magnificent show at the theatre or a wonderful stay at a perfect hotel) one worries that going back will not live up to one’s expectations. However, with Auberge De Classe we need not have worried - our second stay was every bit as wonderful as the... More

We stayed for two nights from 10th Sept. 2014 in this well restored 18th century building with walled garden. The accommodation was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included fruit from the garden and was served in the tastefully decorated lounge or kitchen. The various reviews of this establishment seem to be favourable in the extreme but we... More

This little auberge with its three bedrooms is sensationally well run. We were greeted by Albert, the owner and host, and invited to share wine with him in the charming garden. He is a well-travelled host who makes one feel very special. The house was originally a farm and has been in the family for a long while. Our room... More

A small but perfectly formed B&B in the small but perfectly formed town of Veurnes, one of the few places in this area to have remained unscathed after two world wars. The 'Klasse' in the name refers to the fact that the building was used as a school during WW2, but there is no doubt that this auberge is a... More
