Stayed here for 2 nights on business. Plus: room is clean, bed is good, conveniently located near the train station and surrounded by restaurants Con: walls are EXTREMELY thin. I could hear the cleaning ladies having entire conversations in the morning (7.30 AM). They must know about this issue so should instruct staff to work quietly instead of shouting their... More

Long hairs on bathroom floor, very very noisy rooms (thin walls and even thinner door between rooms), white coating on floor makes it look like floors are dirty. Breakfast is ok, beds are box spring and are very good. Location is ok because it is opposite of the train station.

Have stayed here a number of times the last being in February..Tired and dated hotel and whilst not their fault, recent town improvement make access very difficult. Very basic rooms and wifi connection very poor on 2nd floor and above..Can also be very noisy with outside / internal noise very noticeable in most rooms..Breakfast ok and check out can be... More

Stayed here recently on business. Property seemed quite "tired" and in need of a refresh. Fixtures and fittings were generally not of a high quality; for example the ceramics in the bathrooms looked like seconds to me and had clearly visible flaws. Public areas in need of a refresh, repaint and recarpet. Rooms not well sound insulated; windows particularly did... More

Good location. Walls in the rooms are very thin (plasterboard)and if you are a very light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. The doors open and close very loud which wakes you up every time someone comes in or goes out. If anyone is speaking the whole floor can hear. I suggest that management spend one night sleeping... Good location, rooms clean and comfortable. Corridors shabby but lovely breakfast room on rooftop. Friendly service. Rooms stiflingly hot and lots of noise from the street below. We stayed the night at the beginning of a cycling trip and one at the end, we didn't sleep well either night because of noise or heat. Management were very helpful and gave... More

The hotel is very well located near the railway station and the center of the town. The staff was very friendly and proposed restaurant, shops and others on request. The room was renewed and very stylish (modern). Car park could be better....breakfast was extensive and well taken care off. Ideally for town visits or business trips.

Not worth the almost 100 euros per night and I don't know where they got their stars. Staff is courteous but un-enthusiastic and not what a weary traveler hopes for when checking in.Carpets need replacing, Tv is only tuned to 10 channels [out of 26], all Belgian..or Dutch...No CNN, BBC, or EURONEWS..No Bloomberg or MSNBC...No 24 hour news or weather... very basic hotel with varying room quality, breakfast is buffet style and just ok, parking is a nightmare, if you arrive after 5pm then little chance to get parked so you have to park in the road - which is actually better than the car park! No restaurant for dinner.

thank you for your review. we are sorry about our carparkspace. it is indeed a bit crowdy and hard to find a spot when we have a busy night. but as you mentioned there is plenty of space on the roads next to the hotel. If you are on a short stay and looking for a central location, this hotel will do...just. The welcome from the receptionist was very friendly, providing advice on where to eat. The room was a bit tired, but generally clean apart from some disconcerting hairs on the toilet cover and suspect stains on the white arm chairs. Coffee making facilities... More
