Myself and Dan decided to drive here from England for 3 nights camping in a tent. We were lucky with the weather as only rained one day. The cost of the pitch was 48 euro's and just had the additional cost of the showers, which we had 5 euros, but this lasted us for the entire stay. The toilet/shower block... More

We decided to go to Brugge for the weekend less than a week out. I wanted to find something that wasn't too expensive, had separate sleeping rooms, and small kitchen would be a plus. I found this location and it seemed like it would fit our needs and it did. The resort itself was easy to find. The check in... More

Stayed here last weekend. We stayed 1 night here as I brought my 2 children to Belgium on the Eurostar. We got train to Bruges then taxi for 25 euros to camp site (although there is a bus 52 from outside Bruges railway station for about 2 euros ) the glamping tent was lovely, really comfortable and fun. Well equipped... More

Passing through on way to Netherlands and Germany, Jabbeke is only an hour and a half from the Eurotunnel. Enormous camping site accommodating all needs. Typical site in our limited foreign travels. Very narrow site roads making rig manoeuvring interesting. Pitches hedged but somewhat crammed together so although pitches were a decent size get on and off was a challenge... More

Dear Tony, Thank you for your effort to write some feedback, this is really useful for us! We're sorry about the bad weather conditions. August wasn't very sunny at all till today, we hope that will change from tomorrow... If we could buy the sun, we'd do it for you :-) Have a nice summer. We hope to see you... More

Great campsite, really really good info given out when checking in - wifi, bus timetable, map, tourist brochures etc....everything you need....they have thought of :) Lovely staff. Easy walk to bus and about 25mins to town. Amenities are ok, need to pay for showers. This is the last campsite on our three and a half month tour of Europe.....and the... More

Visited for one night as part of the Windy 500 of 2014. 10 vehicles, a mixture of cars/tents and camper vans. We took a cabin, or rather a mobile home which was situated as far from the main reception as you can get. 109 euros for a 6 berth. All adequate, cooking facilities, patio area with table, fridge, lounge, small... More

Dear miss/sir, Thank you for your stay at Klein Strand. It is correct that the site is rather large, some of the accomocations are indeed not that close to the main reception. However in july and august, there is a 2nd reception open next to the Happy Days bar. We're glad that you've had a good time. Hope to see... More

We stayed at site over Easter for 7 nights in our touring caravan. Unfortunately the site has been neglected in places with many decrepit permanent caravans/awnings making the area feel rather run down. The lake was disappointing - no activity even though it was Easter - and there was a lot of litter around. The supermarket wasn't open and only... More

We camped at this site 4 years ago in our brand new pristine Hobby, was a nice stopover for visit into Brugges at that time. On last visit Sept 2013 the wife and I found it a totaly different site, the whole area is surrounded by rubbish tips, dog poo, which epitomized the dog owners neglect, and derelict caravans/pitches all... Very spacious plots for motorhomes. We went out of season, but bars and restaurants were open. the small town of Jabekke has a few restaurants, bars and 2 supermarkets, all within 15 mins walk of site. We bought a 10 ride bus ticket for 10 euros, this made the 25 min bus ride to Brugees 1 euro each way!!! (Dogs... More

Our last stop on a 3 week holiday across Europe and definitely our worst site. We booked on location which was great for Bruges and the WW1 sites, also only an hour from Calais. Sadly the site itself was a poor choice. On paper it looked great but in reality... The first night we could find nowhere open -apparently normal... More
