Great location, reasonable price. Staff very polite, helpful and attentive. Specially Housekeeping girls were so helpful. On the arrival room wasnt ready. Housekeeping girls were more concerned and appologetic then management. Manager was more interested in finisih her lunch then greeting guests. Overall - good stay

This is our third stay at Hotel Cajou and we have notice improvements every time we visit. On this occasion we had a well appointed, double room, facing out onto the main coastal road running through De Panne. If you don't want the noise of the coastal tram running the road until late into the night then ask for a... More

Returned to the Hotel Cajou for an over night stop. Being Winter, the hotel was a lot quieter than when we last July (2012). As previously said, the hotel rooms were spotlessly clean but looking a bit tired and in need of a refurb. Given the current recession it is understandable that that there may be a reluctance to invest... More

Stayed for 2 nights in July whilst visiting the battlefields of France & Belgium. Bedroom furnishings were a bit dated but clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful and hotel was close to the beach for walking. In general we found De Panne very clean and well maintained. Although a number of establishments could speak english at a push I... More

I have stayed in better hotels but it was central and close to the beach. It badly needed updating and was a bit shabby in places. It was not as clean as I would have liked. The staff were friendly and the best thing was the breakfast buffet which was adequate. We managed to park nearby with no problem.

I stayed with a school party from the Bishops Stortford High School, July 9th to 13th 2012. The first thing Peter, the manager said to us was, and I quote his words exactly; 'Treat this hotel as your home for the next few days.' Now I have stayed in a few hotels in my time, from 1 star to 5... More

The hotel needs thorough upgrading and updating; the room we stayed in was old and manky. I thought I smelt stale urine, but was thinking I was imagining things, but sure enough I found our toilet leaking..... The actual bathroom was as old, just like we were back in the 80's. Room itself wasnt much better, with bright fluorescent lamp... More

Room was simple but bed comfortable, shower excellent and tv had lots of channels. Free wifi was a bonus. Parking was an extra £7.50 pn. Breakfast was very good. Hotel is in the centre close to the seafront and numerous restaurants
