Overall we where pleased with this hotel. Yes the corridors and stairways where dark and dingy however there was nothing wrong with the room. We where surprised how large our room was. The staff where pleasant however language was a little bit of a problem. We had a meal in the restaurant one evening and it was very good it... More

Staff not kind at all ! Poor service . Hotel and rooms are old and need restauration and an upgrade to modern age . food served is average . They have a terrace situated in the garden , but very noisy 'cause of the attraction for childrens placed there . Overpriced for the value you get there ...

GOOD POINTS The check in was easy, but a little shocked by the big key we was given, was expecting a card like everywhere else. Anyway staff very nice and friendly, the stairs are steep going up but there is a lift hiding behind the stairs. Very small lift! Wnot carry more than 2 people max. Its a very old... More

Started off all well booked in got a nice room over garden, showered and then went into town only 250m away for dinner and had best Moules in a while. Went back to hotel for a night cap before bed as De Panne was quiet as it was off peak time. Got to hotel went into bar got stares all... More

I loaded the address into satnav once we arrived in France and offer went. About 50 minutes from Le Shuttle. Now the only problem with satnav was when we arrived at hotel location as it doesn't pick up on the fact that most of the roads are no entry so if arriving from Popsaland end of de panne don't take... We enjoyed our stay at the Parkhotel, as we like slightly offbeat places and this is certainly one - fairly large by regional standards and obviously once very grand, with a certain faded (perhaps even slightly crumbling) glory - the parquet floor in the main entrance seems to be collapsing (the dip in the floor is strategically protected by a... My husband and I stayed here with our college age son and booked a quad, which had two bedrooms and a bath. Bright well lit room with comfortable mattress and great shower. The staff were helpful in directing us to the beach (fabulous) and dune hike (interesting and beautiful). We stayed Saturday and ordered their Belgium buffet. Wide variety of... More

If you'd like to stay in the Adams Family mansion, then you would love to stay here. The place is in perpetual semi-darkness and you need a miners lamp to get up the dark and dingy stair case. Paint - peeling, carpets - brown, walls - green and cream. We stayed just prior to Halloween, but it didn't need that... More

We booked 2 rooms and found the hotel to be extremely basic and overpriced at 99 euros for a room. The whole place is tatty and also has a dangerous lift. Since it welcomes families, this is really unacceptable.
