Stayed here shortly when visiting Sint-Truiden. Hosts are very kind, rooms are big and well decorated, bathroom is big, enough soaps and towels. Breakfast is very well done, seperately served on the table, gives it something exclusive. Only disadvantage I would say is the early check out time of 10am. I prefer a later checkin and a later checkout. But... More

The hotel had very nice decor and the double room was nicely furnished and spotless. The hotel is very quiet at night with little traffic passing by. It's close proximity to the station was an important factor. Breakfast was very good with variety of good food which topped off a very pleasant overnight stay.

Close to Sint Truiden railway station (although the Stationsstraat is not the most interesting street in town). Hotel/restaurant in a large old building - renovation seems to be work in progress (by the owners?). Did not try the restaurant (did not see any other guests in the restaurant either). Charming rooms but overall the decoration and finishing is a bit... More

Dear anonymous mr vdbgeo, It took us a while to know how to respond on your review...As a critical guest in our hotel you should be more accurate. As you could see in the hallway there are sketches of our architect of the reconstructions that are being done, so we as the owners didn´t do it ourselfs. As for the... More

The Belle-Vie has been loving restored by Jan and Chris over the last 18 months. All rooms are en-suite but only a total of 8 rooms but in the old Belgium style - high ceilings full of character. Very reasonable rates and a pleasant change from the concrete box rooms you get in the usual chain hotels. I think some... More

When we arrived is was dark, Jan lead us though the dining room IN THE DARK, to pay for the three nights. He switched... More

My family and I were informed that the reception would be open for arrival until 9pm, after a very long drive from the west of England we arrived at around 8:30 pm to a completely locked up and closed-lights off, derelict looking building. I was holding a very tired and sleepy 4 year old child stuck outside this very dark... More
