Forget wondering about where to put your suitcase or finding enough space for all your stuff in the bathroom. The rooms at the Lodge are enormous and the ensuite bathrooms are equally huge. The hotel is a charmingly and stylishly converted old famhouse with lots of exposed brick and timber beams combined with chic new fittings. The beds are really... More

We were looking for something not in the centre of town (Leuven) but not so far from either. Welcome at reception was very friendly and very helpful. The (large) suite we booked (reasonable priced!) was nice, clean, no noise. Fresh fruit, a 1/2 Bottle of wine and water in the room all that FOC is a good idea in particular... More

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Beautifully renovated old farmhouse with very spacious rooms and suits. Every room is very different from the others, but all are very attractive. Sleeping is excellent, there is very little noise. The bathrooms are truly luxurious and everything is ver clean. There are restaurants in the neighborhood, but... More

We were there for a private function. Service was almost entirely carried out by very young people (cheap apprentices?) and chaotic (had to change rooms in the middle of the event etc.). The staff in general was not helpful at all (starting with the first telephone contact). The breakfast was fine, but there was not enough bread, we were actually... More

Nice refurbished ancient building, warm environment and very nice room, even too big ! The personnel is kind and polite, my flight landed in Brussels very late but even after midnight the people in the lobby were very kind. Breakfast is standard not really a glory, just average. Definitely a place to stay !

I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. The upstairs room was a simple yet elegant country-style home away from home. Very comfortable bed and a large bathtub for relaxing. Breakfast was great and service was top notch. If I am ever again in the vicinity of Leuven, this is where I will stay!

We needed a family-friendly base for a 4-day visit. The Lodge is ideally placed for easy access to Leuven (take the #2 bus from directly outside, approx 15mins,fare is €2) has a decent restaurant as well as a separate brasserie across the road. As an alternative there is a Greek restaurant (Zorbas) over the road too. Rooms are good-sized, clean... More

We were in Heverlee on business and were advised to have dinner at The Lodge. The food was a disappointment and the staff were none-too-friendly. When back in Leuven/Heverlee we will try different options.

Very pleased, cosy, friendly staff, beautiful room ( we had an upgrade), even the price is pleasant. Breakfast is simply good and with a variety of different foods. Nice location. Can recommend this hotel especially price/quality and certainly taken the region in consideration, than with that price I even consider it a bargain, and I have booked directly at the hotel... More

Stayed overnight en route to Germany. Service, reception and comfort excellent, lovely beamed large room with walk-in bathroom... air conditioned and cool. Good beds and bedding, spotlessly clean and a very quiet night's sleep. Close to the University and really reminiscent of parts of Cambridge. Would definitely stay again.
