I stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. Pros: Very warm and friendly staff Convenient location because of proximity to station, and the office areas. Good complimentary breakfast Cons: No parking - need to park at the station, which is not very convenient I felt as if I was staying on the train station platform :). Wi-fi speed... More

Turnhout is not blessed with a vast array of hotels. The Best Western by the train station is a about as good as it gets. I have stayed in one other in the city and both are comparable. Nothing to get excited about really, the staff were very helpful though to be fair. Wifi included and worked well.

This hotel, not far from the main place of the city (10min walking, and you need to move for the dinner), is probably the best one of turnhout. Rooms are comfortable (not very large) and the service correct. However, the wifi is not working well at the first floor. Globally this hotel is correct.

I have stayed here before, always while on business in neighboring Beerse; which is literally five minutes down the main road. This last trip I spent five nights, ending this past Thursday. As you can read from the other reviews, this place is as unique as it gets. The building was converted into a hotel and the signs of its... More

Just an overnight stay booked via expedia but a real delight. its a converted goods yard with one side looking onto the railway and the other side onto the street but we slept very well. The room was plush, the ensuite only had a shower but more than sufficient. We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist who was attentive but... More

This unusual hotel is a converted Goods Shed alongside the railway station, which is situated to the West in the centre of Turnhout. The main centre is about 10 minutes' walk. There is a small car park outside (for which parking charges apply during the day) and a larger free car park the other side of the railway station, a... More

Literally on a busy street on one side and the train station on the other. Nice place, front desk friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, with a wide variety of foods (notes to owners: thaw out your fruit salad, and consider changing the names of the 'old' and 'new' cheeses!). Rooms average size for Europe--I was on the first floor... More

I stayed here for 4 nights on business but my wife was with me and she was on a holiday. Location is great as it is right next to the train and bus station. As such it was very handy for my wife and to visit other parts of Belgium. The hotel was very good, room a little small perhaps... More

... as you get the feeling you live directly at the platform of the train station - and also the first train I heard only at app. 6:30 in the morning, but wasn't too noisy ... a neat hotel with extraordinary kind staff, sweets, wine and water free in the room, accordingly great breakfest buffet ... all in all more... I stayed here for 3 nights this past week. This is the first time that I've stayed at a Best Western Plus. Generally, the hotel did have a feel of a star above the other Best Western 3 stars where I have stayed. The hotel was easy to find since it was right beside the train station. Check in was... More
