I stayed for three nights recently, having breakfast and dining in both the a la carte and brasserie restaurants. Yes the hotel is not cheap, but I did enjoy my stay, so I was interested to see the somewhat negative reviews on Tripadvisor. The room was not especially cold, nor did I think it old fashioned. The staff are clearly... More

I was in the Watermolen for an all day meeting and I was surprised to see what it became to be. During the years it normally was a steady and reliable hotel-meeting-restaurant establishment with continuous service and quality. Today not so much anymore.... the rooms and halways are outdated, the meetingrooms seriously outdated and the equipment and materials up to... More

Especially the restaurant serves excellent dishes... some small improvements in the behavior of staff could take it to another level. The rooms are good, though a bit old fashioned. Breakfast was OK, we would like to see fresh 'pistolets' and at 10 AM all food is removed... so not for late birds :-) The location is green and ideally to... More

The best in this hotel is its location - very beautiful place, the pictures on the web do not do justice to it. the whole garden is also very nicely maintained. it is great to have the ceiling-to-floor window of the room facing lots of greenery and water. but this is about all that is nice about the hotel, especially... We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. It was a nice little hotel, but the staff needed some work. Also, since we did not have a car, the location was difficult to get to anything, though we made due. The green area and trails around the hotel were beautiful for walking on a pretty day.

I spent four days at this hotel, where I also conducted several workshops. The location itself is lovely, and was perfectly suited for having my participants leave the office behind and concentrate on the topic at hand. My room was spacious and the decor attractive. The outside public space was beautifully cared for and inviting. Unfortunately, the weather less so.... More

I've stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and have never found a reason to fault it. Rooms - a nice size with great facilities including free wifi. I would recommend staying in the rooms on the left hand side of the building, as you can hear the hum of the water during the night if you stay in the... More

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area and on a small island in a small river, called "de Nete", and at the entrance you could see the watermill at work. The restaurant and the rooms are in separate buildings. The rooms were nice and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The quality of the food was really... More

This is quiet hotel somewhat off the beaten track. Upon my arrival the check-in process was quick and went smoothly and followed by an escort taking me to my room. Of not, the rooms are in a separate building, which adds to the quaintness of the hotel. The room, a junior suite, was spacious and clean. The free Wi-Fi was... More

We stay regularly in The Watermolen; it's a great place for foodies: fresh ingredients, carefully dressed on your plate. Excellent kitchen at reasonable prices. Moreover really friendly and helpful service. Sleeping rooms are in a separate building which is handy, always wireless internet available. No fitness or swimming pool; It is a classic place on the countryside, nice and cosy.... More
