We were given a warm welcome at this hotel and ushered into a very comfortable, clean room with a balcony affording views over the street and to the mountains. The breakfast was good, as was the dinner which we ate on the large patio outside. (One night we were entertained by a traditional folk band.) Menus and other information is... More

I have spent 10 days recently at the Moserwirt and it was a perfect vacation. As the hotel is located in a very small village, plan ahead what to do during your stay. The village itself is very quiet during the day and has limited nightlife but the offer on what to do in the region is just outstanding and... More

This is a fairly basic hotel, but the staff were very helpful and our room extremely well equipped. We had a suite, which had a small kitchen area with coffee machine and fridge etc. Large sitting area and a 4 poster bed! Breakfast was nice, and there is plenty of off street parking to the rear.

The room was adequate. Nothing special. The food was okay but it was in the "non-smoking" section of the restaurant. The breakfast was very nice, though. It took 10 minutes before any helped us check in. Not very customer focussed. They are very bike friendly, though. They have a dedicated garage with a pump, stand, and other things to work... More

Salzkammergut the best place in Austria. We had the "Herbst- package" and enjoyed it. Our beds were not the best and we got woken up at 5.30 from the hiking group who met outside in the parking lot. Thank you very much. Not much much sleep the whole time. The food was very good, not an easy task with us... More

We stayed at the hotel as part of a walking week. The staff were lovely and friendly and the owner's son could not have been more helpful. Although there was a limited choice on half board, they were more than happy to cook other meals to suit our various diets within the group. The rooms were lovely and very spacious... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our walking holiday around the Salzkammergut. We stayed in the Maria Theresia pension, which is part of the Moserwirt hotel, our dinners were at Moserwirt but our breakfasts were supplied at the pension. Lovely rooms, clean large bathrooms, very friendly staff and all in all highly reccommended. Quiet situation so able... More

Stayed one night in September 2009 during biking trip. Our double room was really huge. Bed was comfortable but too soft for me. It was very quite at night. So, all was OK and clean but, generally speaking, looked as might be in need of some renovations quite soon, particularly carpet in our room. Half board meal was decent. Spa sauna... More

We (2 + 2 (16y+12y)) stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights. It's best for its location (at the very center of the lower lakes district), in the village so you have just outside some restaurants and cafés. The room, we were in the PENTHOUSE which is huge, is very clean and equip with everything. It's not cheap, but... More

Gasthof Moserwirt is a locally owned hotel with a very good restaurant and small spa. My husband and I traveled with our two teenagers, so we spent two nights in a large top floor apartment. It had a full kitchen, one bath area with a spa tub and a washing machine, a separate lovely shower room and toilet, three bedrooms(one... More
