Having booked the hotel for 3 days to include Christmas Day, my partner and I were very much looking forward to experiencing the Austrian hospitality. We arrived in the cute Austrian town of Bad Aussee by train. We took a taxi 10.5 euros for the short trip and immediately LOVED our hotel. Wonderful hotel...superb food and top notch service. The only notable negatives were the temperature of the water...rather chilly and as is the custom in Austria...everyone smokes. The hotel decided to give the smokers the most comfortable couches and tables, log fire and bar area, whilst the non smokers are up top with the pool table and board games. Thats not... more
