This hotel has been for me over the past years like my second home ! The personnel are outstanding with their hospitality , the rooms are very comfortable, and the food is excellent . In my opinion , this hotel encompasses much of what I love about Austria and is nestled in this very charming and scenic area near Innsbruck.!!

Hotel Geisler is like a cosy fireplace that warms me everytime i'm there. It was the 3rd time i visited Hotel Geisler. It's a place to enjoy the peace and nature of the mountains which are very close but also the vibrance of the city of Innsbruck (10 - 15 mins by car). Isabella, the hotel owner, makes sure you... We spent 7 nights here with the aim of exploring the local area, hiking, doing some sightseeing in and around Tirol. We had a fmaily room which was spacious and had a separate room for the kids. The faciilties were excellent in the hotel including a pool table, games room and table tennis table; not to mention the pool. We... More

Homely place, great food prepared with love, using local products and when possible bio friendly produced. Wonderful and helpful people. We stayed for 3 nights, the rooms are simple comfortable and clean and we can't really ask for more on a short holiday.

I'd give this 4 1/2 stars, rounded up here for the food: I think we were the only people staying here on a recent swing through Tirol. We found it comfortable and clean, with good service. Its location out in the country makes it less ideal for sightseeing in nearby Innsbruck or Hall, but perfect for those wanting a retreat.... More

My husband and I really enjoyed the rooms, the good dinner and breakfast was really good, and in the evening we walked around and the perfume of flowers or grass made me feel like I was in aromatherapy. We wanted to stay more, unfortunately there was no room. We will go again, also because there are many villages and towns... More

I've stayed at Ferienhotel Geisler twice and both times have been very pleasant. The place is very familiar and all staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms I've stayed in are large, clean and quiet with fantastic views. Restaurant serves good food for both dinner and breakfast. The outdoor pool is indeed an asset when travelling with children and teens,... More
